About Our Campus
Campus History
Message from the Director

Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Chihuahua was established in August 1976, in the facilities located at Kennedy Street No. 33. In its beginnings, the campus offered only a high school program in both traditional and open modalities, with a total of 178 students.

At that time, the Civil Association of Higher Education of the North was founded, presided over by Mr. Eloy Vallina, with Mr. Federico Terrazas as Vice President. In 1978, renovation work began on the current facilities. The bachelor's degrees in Law, with 14 students, and Financial Administration, with 50 students, were the first professional programs offered. It is worth noting that this was also the first campus to offer these two degrees.

Over time, the campus expanded and began to offer engineering programs along with administrative ones.

In April 2009, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Park PIT2 was inaugurated, being the first building in Mexico to obtain LEED environmental certification, awarded by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) for its excellence in sustainability and design.

In June 2013, the campus launched PIT3, a space dedicated to consulting, training, and services for the development, incubation, and consolidation of companies. Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Chihuahua has consolidated itself as an institution of academic excellence, leading successful projects such as the Entrepreneur Program.

Currently, the professional educational offer consists of 12 degrees, the Multicultural and Bicultural programs in PrepaTec, as well as the High Point International School.

The comprehensive education of students has produced graduates with a humanistic vision, who, through their social service, contribute to strengthening Chihuahua's society. Looking to the past and projecting into the future, the Chihuahua campus continues its commitment to society and its students for the benefit of Mexico.

At Tecnológico de Monterrey, our vision is to train leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit, a human sense, and international competitiveness.

As one of the best universities in Chihuahua and in the country, we must seek to increase our strengths, being more relevant to our audiences through those differentiators that make us unique.

For this, the Tecnológico de Monterrey works on a unique and cutting-edge educational model called Tec 21, which seeks to improve the competitiveness of students in their professional field, to position the Tec as the best university in Chihuahua.

All of the above, through enhancing the skills of current generations to develop the skills required to become leaders who can face the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.

For those of us who work at Tecnológico de Monterrey, we have the firm conviction that we seek to transform lives through education. We do it with a learning philosophy based on challenges, inspiring teachers, in order to offer a new comprehensive training experience every day.

I invite you to learn about the programs and activities that we offer at our university, where academic quality is the spearhead within the system, making it one of the best universities.

Welcome!

Tec Community

“Tecnológico de Monterrey's 2030 vision proposes a new stage of transformation, returning to the essence of the Institution and the achievements of the past to focus on a more humane, innovative future centered on the well-being of our community. An education that not only prepares for work, but for life and on an ongoing basis, will be the center of the new Tecnológico de Monterrey vision for 2030.

Being part of the Tecnológico de Monterrey should be taken as a privilege, as a great opportunity to positively impact the lives of many people, as the pride of growing and keeping alive the legacy of all the people who for so many years have contributed to the strengthening of our institution at a national level and particularly of our Chihuahua Campus.

If you have not yet had the opportunity to come and meet us, I invite you to come and allow us to get to know you. If you are already part of the student community, I ask you to feel proud and prepare to support the growth and development of our state and our country; if you are a professor, teacher, collaborator or collaborator, I appreciate the enormous effort and dedication in the day-to-day construction of this great community.

I am at your service and you can count on my efforts to ensure that the Tec de Monterrey Chihuahua campus continues to shine with its own light, being a model and example of great achievements and extraordinary experiences.

Good luck!
