Tecnólogico de Monterrey opens the doors of its Student Residences where you will have the opportunity to live and grow in a multicultural environment.

Our Wellbeing model

It is designed to make your campus experience unique. You will achieve a healthy and independent way of living, with excellent access to professors, student clubs, and campus resources that will contribute to your development.

Because Tec Residences hosts a variety of events that you may participate in or arrange, it's the ideal place for students to meet new people. Additionally, it provides you with access to a variety of extracurricular activities, including student groups, athletics, and counseling, all of which are a part of the Student Leadership and Training (LiFE) model, which enhances your integration and well-being.

You will have the option to apply for prefect, which will not only help you grow personally but also reward you with several advantages for your involvement.

Academic level

As a resident, you will have the possibility of requesting academic support from tutors through advice on subjects that are difficult for you and/or support from expert advisors who will supervise your adaptation and integration to Tecnológico de Monterrey and the student community.

Be Accepted at Tec, that is, you have passed the admission exam and your registration has been assigned to you.

Enter the Mi Tec portal and search for the Mis Servicios en Campus search mis Residencias Tec to fill out your online application.

- Select the period to live.

- Validate your information.

- Pre-select your room preferences.

- Fill out the habits questionnaire to find your roommate.

- Choose the payment option (cash or 5 payment plan).

- Check terms and conditions.

IMPORTANT: The application is subject to availability.

You will receive a confirmation notification of your application process.

Check the room assignment dates.

Overview

Dr. Stuart Candy is a pioneer of experiential futures, a family of practices for supporting collective foresight through media, the arts, and design. With a background spanning law, the history and philosophy of science, and musical theatre, for two decades he has seeded and grown approaches to rigorous imagining and co-creation that are now used worldwide.

A frequent advisor and collaborator on cultural, educational, governance, and organizational initiatives, Dr. Candy has worked with Fortune 100 companies, UN agencies, the International Red Cross, World Energy Council, Smithsonian Institution, Dubai Museum of the Future, Oxford University, the BBC, The New York Times, the Obama Foundation, U.S. Conference of Mayors, and cities from Melbourne to Mexico.

He has held academic appointments at leading universities and design schools including the inaugural professorship in Social Foresight at Parsons School of Design in New York, and fellowships at the East-West Center (Hawaii), Museum of Tomorrow (Brazil), INK (India), Berggruen Institute, World Economic Forum, and The Long Now Foundation.

Dr. Candy is a member of the OECD’s Expert Group on Strategic Foresight, chair of the Center for PostNatural History, and founding director of the creative research unit and award-winning publisher Situation Lab. He recently served as curatorial advisor for NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Getty-backed exhibition in Los Angeles, “Blended Worlds: Experiments in Interplanetary Imagination”.

Stuart Candy joined Tecnológico de Monterrey as Distinguished Visiting Professor in Critical Futures for the School of Architecture, Art and Design.
