Student Talent Development

Talent is expressed differently in each and every one of us and becoming a member of the Tec community gives you the opportunity to embrace a student environment where you can discover, put into practice or drive your talent. The Tec offers innumerable opportunities for your integral education and for you to combine your professional studies with whatever you are passionate about.

Artistic and Cultural Talent

We wholeheartedly believe that through artistic expression, students can cultivate their potential in literature, drama, music, art and dance and express their concerns, interests and emotions.

We offer workshops, cultural and arts classes where you can learn and grow your skills in different artistic expressions. Such as contemporary dance, jazz, hip, hop, Latin rhythms, Arabian and Irish dance. As well as take classes in guitar, keyboard, percussion, painting, photography, amongst many others.

You can participate in plays, concerts, musical theater productions and/or join our theater, music, dance companies.

At Tec, you can participate in nationwide competitions in dance, creative writing, monologs and music performance. Also, some traditional folk dance companies have travelled and toured Europe, Asia, Latin America and United States.

You will appreciate fine arts through the “Escuela de Espectadores”, or collaborate with masters in lighting, scenery, sound, costume, make-up, through the “Escuela de Productores”.

The opportunities are exponential. Extraordinary talents have cultivated their talents within our institution. Our alumni include such talents as Ignacio Llantada, Paloma Cordero, Horacio Castelo, Alberto (Beto) Castillo who lived these moments as students and are now stars in their respective fields.

Talento Atlético y Deportivo

We are convinced that at practicing any sports activity gives you skills and experiences that contribute to your full development. We provide spaces that will help you to either maintain a healthy lifestyle or achieve your athletic goals. There are programs for everyone at the athletics and sports department.

Sport classes

You can join a sport class at any level in which you can learn, practice or improve your skills. We offer classes in athletics, boxing, basketball, yoga, capoeira, spinning, TRX, soccer, swimming, taekwondo, rugby or volleyball, just to name a few.

Recreational

If you are passionate about a sport, you can participate in our intramural tournaments in table tennis, E-sports, soccer, basketball, volleyball, drone racing and others.

Intramurals are organized based on student´s interest and current trends. The tournaments are between students from your campus and also from other campuses.

High performance

If you are already an outstanding athlete, you can join one of our 156 varsity teams in 23 different disciplines nationwide and compete against other universities as a proud Borrego. With talent, discipline, and your coach´s guidance and support, you can achieve your competitive goals but also learn lessons that will last a lifetime. Our varsity teams represent our school at national competitions such as CONADEIP Championships, CONDDE National University Games and other high-level team sports leagues. Our student athletes have competed representing México at international competitions such as FISU World University Games, Central American and Pan-American Games, World Championships and Olympic Games. Our alumni include extraordinary world-class sports talents such as Fernando Platas (Diving), Luis Rivera (Athletics), Eduardo Najera (Basketball), Bibiana Candelas (Beach Volleyball), Ana Paula de la Peña (Tennis), among others.

For Tec de Monterrey, Integral Wellbeing is the state of individuals and communities that contributes to their conscious, constant and balanced development in the physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, occupational and financial dimensions, in harmony with their environment. The Life and Career Center helps all students to identify the professional development path of their choice, as an entrepreneur, employee, conducting research, contributing to the third sector or pursuing specialization studies.

Development of talents and strengths

The Life and Career Plan Workshops provide tools to self-manage your personal and professional development. The workshops are designed to be fully practical and focus on helping you discover your personal and professional strengths, and successfully make the optimize your talents. We can give you advice on building your curriculum and provide first-hand activities in recruitment processes, such as competency-based interviews and assessments.

Your ideal job is just a click away. On the job board, you can find more than 13,000 job listings that are of interest to you, from the over 3,000 companies partnered with us.

Job fairs and business ties

Year round, representatives from different companies and institutions visit our different campi to recruit students and graduates for specific vacancies. During their visit, they give informative sessions to explain the company’s or institution’s profile, their trainee programs and the vacancies they offer and wish to fill.

At Tec, we have relationships that enable you to have internships in the top national and international companies, non-governmental organizations, hospital centers that are highly renowned for their innovation, and/or at the campus itself through the program On Campus Jobs.

At Tecnológico de Monterrey we prioritize, through initiatives, synergies and actions, the well-being of our entire community in areas of health, mobility, food and safe environments.

Estacionamientos, Movilidad Tec de Monterrey

We generate constructive collaboration with valuable partners to offer a better service and experience on campuses through technological tools that help us generate sustainable, accessible, and safe Mobility, always working responsibly with our assigned resources and aligned with regulations.

Services

Parking lot

Tec makes available to its community an efficient and safe system for parking vehicles on campus. places, available for our students, collaborators, and visitors.

There are special spaces reserved for pregnant women, people with motor disabilities, carpool.

Carpool

This is a convenient and sustainable option for those who want to share a ride with other members of the community.

This service is free and only requires at least 3 people inside the vehicle to use the available places. *Exceptions by campus.

Electric vehicle charging stations

As part of our sustainability plan, our campuses have charging stations equipped with connectors compatible with different types of electric vehicles in our parking lots.

It is essential to reserve the charger and pick up your vehicle at the end of the scheduled period or penalties will be applied.

This service is only available for students enrolled in the current period and for active teachers and collaborators. Personnel outside the institution and EXATECs will not be able to use the chargers.

Transportation

In support of the mobility needs of the Tec community, we offer safe and efficient transportation service on some of our campuses.

Non-motorized transportation: micromobility

To facilitate transportation near some campuses, non-motorized vehicles for individual use are permitted.

Circuito Tec has strategic mobility points to help students, collaborators, and teachers to move quickly, safely, and sustainably in areas close to campus and other venues.

Tec´s community cohabitation is promoted at our cafeterias and concessions, alongside sustainability initiatives and the usage of technological innovation tools for our continuous service improvement.

At Tecnologico de Monterrey, the health and well-being of our community is our commitment and priority. To ensure this, all our campuses are equipped with medical units, led by a team of health professionals, made up of doctors, paramedics, nurses and physical therapists, ready to respond to any medical emergency.

ProTect is a group of security experts committed to identifying and managing risks effectively, consistently and efficiently. Its purpose is to enable a safe environment, in an atmosphere of trust and respect for Tec Community.

We wholeheartedly believe that through artistic expression, students can cultivate their potential in literature, drama, music, art and dance and express their concerns, interests and emotions.

You can participate in plays, concerts, musical theater productions and/or join our theater, music, dance companies.

Para el Tec de Monterrey, Bienestar Integral es el estado de las personas y las comunidades que contribuye a su desarrollo consciente, constante y equilibrado en las dimensiones física, emocional, intelectual, espiritual, social, ocupacional y financiera, en armonía con su entorno.

El área de Bienestar Estudiantil en tu campus está destinada a apoyarte y guiarte para desarrollar el equilibrio de las siete dimensiones de tu bienestar a través de:

En el Centro de Vida y Carrera contribuimos para que cada uno de nuestros estudiantes identifique su avenida de desarrollo profesional de su elección ya sea como emprendedor, empleado, investigando, contribuyendo en el tercer sector o continuando sus estudios de especialización.

Desarrollo de talentos y fortalezas

A través de los Talleres de Plan de Vida y Carrera obtienes herramientas para auto gestionar tu desarrollo personal y profesional. El diseño de los talleres es totalmente práctico. Los talleres están enfocados para que tengas plena conciencia de tus fortalezas personales y profesionales y logres ofertar tu talento con éxito. Te brindamos asesoría en la construcción de tu currículo así como actividades vivenciales de reclutamiento como entrevistas basadas en competencias y assessments.

Ferias de empleo Vinculación empresarial

A lo largo del año, los representantes de diferentes empresas e instituciones acuden a los Campus para reclutar estudiantes y egresados para vacantes específicas. Durante su estancia, realizan sesiones informativas con el objetivo de dar a conocer el perfil de la empresa o institución, sus programas trainee y las vacantes que desean cubrir.

En el Tec tenemos vínculos para que realices estancias o interships en reconocidas empresas nacionales e internacionales, en organizaciones no gubernamentales, en centros hospitalarios altamente reconocidos por su innovación y en el mismo campus a través del programa On Campus Jobs.

Te apoyamos a crear un plan para que adquieras las experiencias laborales de tu interés desde el primer día de clases. El Tec de Monterrey te ofrece la experiencia de establecer contacto con compañías y organizaciones nacionales y/o internacionales que están en busca de talento profesional.

Creemos firmemente en la celebración de nuestras diferencias y en las sinergias que surgen de los distintos talentos y habilidades de nuestros estudiantes. Buscamos generar y vivir una cultura incluyente de respeto, libre de discriminación, con equidad en diversos ámbitos, tales como género, discapacidad, creencias religiosas, orientación sexual, nivel socioeconómico y diversidad generacional, entre otras.

Cada alumno extranjero o connacional podrá encontrar un campus con un ambiente estimulante para estudiar, innovar y trascender. Conscientes de que cada alumno es único y tiene habilidades y talentos particulares, se pone a su disposición una amplia gama de actividades que promueven su bienestar y fomentan la integración.

Si estás interesado en influenciar positivamente a tu comunidad, organización o institución en el Tec de Monterrey puedes lograr este sueño al participar en alguno de los 1,143 grupos estudiantiles que se encuentran en los diferentes campus del Tec.

Los grupos estudiantiles se enfocan en diferentes temas como Ecología y Medio Ambiente; Deportivos y Recreativos; Arte y Cultura; Liderazgo; Política, Ciudadanía y Sentido Humano; Desarrollo Profesional y Emprendimiento; Inclusión, Diversidad y Género; Religión y Filosofía, Salud y Bienestar Integral; Vida Estudiantil y Alma Máter; Comité de Graduaciones.

Cada semestre se realizan importantes encuentros nacionales de liderazgo a los cuales puedes asistir y generar sinergia con otros líderes estudiantiles apasionados como tú. También tienes la oportunidad de representar y escuchar a tus compañeros, para generar cambios positivos que impactarán tu comunidad.

A través de iniciativas, sinergias y acciones, en el Tecnológico de Monterrey priorizamos el bienestar de toda nuestra comunidad en áreas de salud, movilidad, alimentación y entornos seguros.

Generamos sinergia con socios de valor para ofrecer un mejor servicio y experiencia en los campus, por medio de herramientas tecnológicas que nos ayuden a generar una movilidad sostenible, accesible y segura, siempre trabajando responsablemente con nuestros recursos asignados y alineados a la normativa.

Estacionamientos

El Tec pone a disposición de su comunidad un sistema eficiente y seguro para el estacionamiento de vehículos en campus y lugares disponibles para estudiantes, colaboradores y visitantes.

Contamos con espacios especiales reservados para mujeres embarazadas, personas con discapacidades motoras y carpool.

Carpool

Esta es una opción conveniente y sostenible para aquellos que desean compartir viaje con otros miembros de la comunidad.

El uso de este servicio es gratuito y solo se requiere que haya un mínimo de 3 personas dentro del vehículo para poder utilizar los lugares de estacionamiento disponibles. *Excepciones por campus.

Estaciones de carga eléctrica

Como parte de nuestro Plan de sostenibilidad, nuestros campus cuentan con estaciones de carga equipadas con conectores compatibles con diferentes tipos de vehículos eléctricos en nuestros estacionamientos.

Es indispensable reservar el cargador y retirar tu vehículo al finalizar el lapso programado o se aplicarán sanciones.

Este servicio sólo está disponible para estudiantes inscritos en el periodo actual y para profesores y colaboradores activos. Personal ajeno a la Institución y EXATEC no podrán hacer uso de los cargadores.

Transporte

Como apoyo a las necesidades de movilidad de la comunidad Tec, ofrecemos servicio de transporte seguro y eficiente en algunos de nuestros campus.

Transporte no motorizado

Para facilitar el transporte dentro de las inmediaciones de algunos campus, está permitido transitar con vehículos no motorizados de uso individual.

Se pueden usar los siguientes medios de transporte dentro del campus:

Patineta

El campus pone a disposición de sus usuarios racks de bicicletas. **

Debido a las largas distancias que se pueden recorrer dentro de algunos campus, ponemos a tu disposición bicicletas, las cuales podrás usar únicamente en las áreas designadas y deberán ser colocadas en cualquiera de los racks en el campus.

CircuitoTec – solo campus Monterrey

El CircuitoTec cuenta con puntos de movilidad estratégicos para ayudar a estudiantes, colaboradores y profesores, a transportarse de una manera rápida, segura y sostenible en zonas cercanas al campus y otros recintos.

Creamos experiencias memorables y fomentamos el bienestar físico y emocional a través de distintas opciones de alimentos en cada uno de nuestros Campus, comprometidos con el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad y servicio establecidos.

En nuestras cafeterías y concesiones impulsamos la convivencia de la comunidad Tec, promovemos iniciativas de sostenibilidad e implementamos herramientas de innovación tecnológica para la mejora de nuestro servicio.

En el Tecnológico de Monterrey la salud y el bienestar de nuestra comunidad es nuestros compromiso y prioridad. Para asegurarnos, todos nuestros campus están equipados con unidades médicas, lideradas por un equipo de profesionales de la salud, integrado por médicos, paramédicos, enfermeros y fisioterapeutas, listos para responder a cualquier emergencia médica.

En los 37 sedes del Tecnológico de Monterrey, que incluyen prepa, profesional y posgrado, contamos con equipos de cardio protección y personal altamente capacitado para atender emergencias de origen cardiológico.

ProTect es un grupo de personas expertas y comprometidas en identificar y administrar los riesgos de manera efectiva, consistente y eficiente. Su propósito es habilitar un entorno seguro, en un ambiente de confianza y respeto para la Comunidad Tec.
