The School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Tecnológico de Monterrey (EMCS) is a private educational institution founded in 1978. It offers 5 undergraduate programs, as well as 17 medical specialties of the Multicenter Program, 2 doctorates: Clinical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences, 1 Master's in Clinical Sciences, a MDPhD program and 31 highly specialized courses. We are present in 4 locations nationwide: Monterrey, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Chihuahua where we have more than 1,000 professional and graduate professors who innovate by providing health education to our more than 2,500 students.

The School also has 8 Strategic Research Focus Groups. The EMCS has 78 professors in the National Research System (SNI), 1,039 publications, 116 active clinical research protocols and 1,419 students participating in research. It is an integral part of the Health System of the Tecnológico de Monterrey called TecSalud, of which the San José Hospital, the Zambrano Hellion Hospital and the TecSalud Foundation are part. It is also part of the strategic alliance with the public hospitals of the Secretary of Health of Nuevo León, Mexico.

The objective of the School of Humanities and Education is to prepare future leaders to develop critical, ethical, and creative actions in cultural, educational, economic, technological, and social initiatives to create a world where we can find well-being, dignity, and justice.

Our school not only protects the cultural heritage of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, but also addresses everything from creative industries to cultural analytics through education for sustainable development, thus establishing bridges of interdisciplinary dialogue between the humanities and other areas to solve the problems that our society is currently facing.

We can be found on all 26 campuses and offer a total of fourteen academic programs at bachelor's, master's, and doctorate levels.

La Escuela de Humanidades y Educación tiene el propósito de formar personas que lideren acciones críticas, éticas y creativas en los ámbitos cultural, educativo, económico, tecnológico y social para crear otros mundos posibles de bienestar, dignidad y justicia.

Nuestra Escuela no solo resguarda el Patrimonio Cultural del Tecnológico de Monterrey, sino que también aborda desde la educación para el desarrollo sostenible, las industrias creativas, hasta la analítica cultural para establecer puentes de diálogo interdisciplinario entre las Humanidades y otras áreas del conocimiento, para resolver los problemas que aquejan a nuestra sociedad actualmente.

Tenemos presencia en los 26 campus del país, y contamos con catorce programas académicos a nivel profesional, maestría y doctorado.
