Overview
Dr. Dhruv Grewal is Toyota Chair in Commerce and Electronic Business and professor of marketing at Babson College. He is also Distinguished Fellow of the Academy of Marketing Science and he has been ranked as one of the most prolific scholars in the field since 1991. He was selected as an AMA Fellow by the American Marketing Association in February 2022, in recognition of his extensive contributions to the discipline.
Dhruv Grewal is a Fractional Professor at the University of Bath, United Kingdom, and has been a GSBE Extramural Fellow at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, Honorary Distinguished Visiting Professor of Retailing and Marketing at the Center for Retailing at the Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden, and a visiting scholar at Dartmouth in the United States. He was a faculty member at the University of Miami, where he was also Department Chair.
His research and teaching interests are on AI, digital marketing, e-commerce, marketing research, the broad areas of value-based marketing strategies, services and retailing, and pricing.
He has taught executive seminars/courses and worked on research projects with companies such as Dell, ExxonMobil, McKinsey, and Motorola, among others. He has given seminars in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Dhruv Grewal joined Tecnológico de Monterrey as Distinguished Visiting Professor in Retail and Marketing for the Business School and EGADE Business School.
