Theme: Weaving a Tale
This first exhibition opens up a space to portray the progress made towards gender equality and, above all, the struggle that this has implied.
With the exhibition "Cuando el hilo se hace red, memoria viva de las mujeres del Tecnológico de Monterrey" (“When a Thread Becomes a Network, Living Memory of Women at Tecnológico de Monterrey”) emerges within the framework of the institution’s 80th anniversary celebrations, to honor and highlight the legacy of women from a vision with a gender and intersectional perspective, revealing that memory is a thread of recollections, actions and hopes, which are articulated in the collective, and day by day weave the experience of our university community. This exhibition consists of four venues that narrate the history of women at Tec. The work expresses the unraveling of a collective memory and represents the past, present and future.
This and another three exhibitions will be open for two semesters as of their inauguration date.
