Identidad y domicilio del Responsable
El Responsable del tratamiento de los datos personales que usted proporcione, es el Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (en lo sucesivo "ITESM") con domicilio ubicado en Av. Eugenio Garza Sada Sur No. 2501, colonia Tecnológico en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. C.P. 64700.
Datos personales tratados por el ITESM
Para cumplir con las finalidades del tratamiento de datos personales de usuarios, señaladas en el presente Aviso de Privacidad, es necesario que el ITESM trate las siguientes categorías de datos personales:
- Datos de identificación
- Datos de contacto
- Datos demográficos
- Datos académicos
- Datos de autenticación
Así mismo, le informamos que, para cumplir con las finalidades señaladas en el presente Aviso, ITESM no recabará ni tratará datos personales sensibles.
Finalidades primarias
El ITESM dará tratamiento a sus datos personales para las siguientes finalidades primarias indispensables y necesarias para la relación jurídica existente entre el titular y el responsable:
- Para verificar su identidad y permitirle acceder al servicio o plataforma de manera segura.
- Para evaluar tus competencias en áreas específicas, como el emprendimiento, la innovación, las competencias digitales, el pensamiento matemático, el pensamiento complejo.
- Para identificar áreas de fortaleza y oportunidades de mejora en tus competencias académicas.
- Para utilizar los resultados de las evaluaciones.
- Para personalizar el contenido y los recursos formativos de aprendizaje que se te ofrecen, adaptándolos a tus necesidades y niveles de competencia.
- Para utilizarlos con fines de investigación para mejorar la plataforma, desarrollar nuevos recursos de aprendizaje y obtener información sobre las tendencias y necesidades de los participantes en relación con las competencias evaluadas.
- Llevar a cabo estudios de investigación educativa y crear publicaciones académicas con el propósito de mejorar el conocimiento en el campo educativo. Antes de utilizar sus datos personales, se aplicarán técnicas de anonimización para garantizar que no puedas ser identificado.
- Realizar actividades de análisis de la información y datos relacionados con su participación mediante la aplicación de diversas técnicas y tecnologías de análisis de datos que nos permitirán conocer mejor su desempeño académico y datos sociodemográficos de su participación.
- Para atender, registrar y dar seguimiento a la(s) solicitud(es) que realice para uso de nuestros servicios.
- Para dar cumplimiento y seguimiento a los términos y condiciones, lineamientos o reglamentación aplicable al servicio que recibe o actividad en la que participa.
- Enviarle comunicaciones, notificaciones y avisos personales a través de distintos canales y mecanismos tecnológicos de comunicación que el ITESM considere pertinentes a fin de darle a conocer información relevante sobre el estado que guarda su participación en las actividades que se haya registrado o inscriba o cualquier asunto que resulte de su interés; así como para conocer su opinión respecto a la atención recibida y los servicios que ofrecemos.
- Elaborar informes para control interno.
- Para salvaguardar la integridad y funcionamiento adecuado de la plataforma.
Transferencias
Con base en lo establecido en el artículo 37 de la LFPDPPP, el ITESM podrá transferir sus datos personales sin requerir de su consentimiento en los siguientes supuestos:
- A sociedades controladoras, subsidiarias o afiliadas bajo el control común del responsable (ITESM), o a una sociedad matriz o cualquier sociedad del mismo grupo del responsable que opere bajo los mismos procesos y políticas internas.
- Autoridades competentes en los casos previstos por la normatividad aplicable, en el caso que recibiéramos un requerimiento de obligado cumplimiento.
- Cuando sea precisa para el mantenimiento o cumplimiento de la relación jurídica entre Usted y el ITESM, como lo es el caso de Personas físicas o morales, nacionales o internacionales con las que tengamos celebrados acuerdos jurídicos vinculantes.
Derechos ARCO y/o revocación del consentimiento
Usted o su representante legal podrá ejercer cualquiera de los derechos de acceso, rectificación, cancelación u oposición (en lo sucesivo “derechos arco”), así como revocar su consentimiento para el tratamiento de sus datos personales a través del correo electrónico datospersonales@itesm.mx y siguiendo el procedimiento, requisitos y plazos para el ejercicio de sus derechos ARCO y/o revocación del consentimiento de nuestra página de internet: https://tec.mx/es/derechos-arco-yo-revocacion-del-consentimiento.
Limitación y/o divulgación de sus Datos Personales
Usted podrá limitar el uso o divulgación de sus datos personales en los eventos o actividades que se lleven a cabo a través de herramientas y plataformas digitales, no activando la cámara, no utilizando su imagen personal en la cuenta con la que se conecte y/o no registrándose con su perfil (dependerá de la plataforma que se utilice para llevar a cabo el evento o actividad).
En las comunicaciones por correo electrónico, inscribiéndose en el listado de exclusión (unsubscribe list), cuando esté disponible en la propia comunicación.
Usted también podrá limitar el uso o divulgación de sus datos personales enviando su solicitud a el ITESM a través de un correo electrónico dirigido a la dirección datospersonales@itesm.mx.
Los requisitos para acreditar su identidad, así como el procedimiento para atender su solicitud se regirán por los mismos criterios señalados en nuestra página de internet: https://tec.mx/es/derechos-arco-yo-revocacion-del-consentimiento. En caso de que resulte procedente, se le registrará en el listado de exclusión propio del ITESM.

Departamento de Datos Personales del ITESM
Es importante hacer de su conocimiento que el ITESM cuenta con un Departamento de Datos Personales el cual, como parte de sus funciones, tiene la de resolver cualquier duda que usted pudiere tener relacionada con el uso de su información. Asimismo, el Departamento de Datos Personales dará seguimiento a cualquier queja o reclamación que usted pudiere tener relacionada con el tratamiento de su información personal.

INAI
En caso de considerarlo necesario, le informamos que tiene el derecho de acudir ante el Instituto Nacional de Transparencia Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI) para hacer valer cualquier inconformidad relacionada con el tratamiento de sus datos personales por parte del ITESM.

Datos personales y datos personales sensibles tratados por el ITESM
Para cumplir con las finalidades del tratamiento señaladas en el presente Aviso de Privacidad, es necesario que el ITESM trate las siguientes categorías de datos personales.
- Datos de identificación, incluyendo su imagen personal, misma que podrá ser registrada a través de fotografías y/o videos institucionales, así como voz;
- Características físicas
- Datos de Contacto
- Datos de Ubicación
- Datos de identificación y Contacto de terceros con Usted relacionados;
- Datos Académicos
- Datos financieros
- Demográficos
- De terceros
- Salud
Así mismo, le informamos que, para cumplir con las finalidades primarias señaladas en el presente Aviso de privacidad, ITESM recabará y tratará datos personales sensibles.
Finalidades primarias
El ITESM dará tratamiento a sus datos personales, tanto de la patria potestad como del menor inscrito, para las siguientes finalidades primarias indispensables y necesarias para la relación jurídica existente entre el titular y el responsable:
- Para gestionar su partición o la del menor inscrito y proporcionar información relevante.
- Para contactar a la patria potestad o al contacto que designe en caso de emergencia y para informarle sobre cualquier situación de emergencia que pueda surgir.
- Para atender, registrar y dar seguimiento a la(s) solicitud(es) que realice.
- Para mantener un registro histórico de sus participaciones.
- Para enviarle encuestas de satisfacción que nos permitan evaluar la experiencia y recibir retroalimentación sobre los aspectos positivos y áreas de mejora. Esta información se utilizará para mejorar futuras ediciones y garantizar una experiencia satisfactoria para los participantes y sus familias.
- Para recopilar información necesaria sobre alergias, condiciones médicas u otras necesidades especiales que afecten su participación o la del menor, para garantizar su seguridad y bienestar durante su participación e informar al contacto de emergencia.
- Si Usted lo autoriza o lo autoriza la patria potestad del menor, para generar material publicitario para promoción, información y divulgación.
- Para validar la veracidad y calidad de la información proporcionada.
- Para dar cumplimiento y seguimiento a los términos y condiciones, lineamientos o reglamentación del servicio.
- Para realizar estadísticas y reportes para control interno.
- Para cumplir con las obligaciones previstas en la normativa aplicable.
- Para las gestiones de pago, facturación y procesos de cobranza.
- Para investigar, prevenir o tomar acciones en relación con actividades ilícitas, fraude o que potencialmente pudieran ser amenazas a la seguridad.
- Para la administración del acceso físico a las instalaciones.
Finalidades secundarias
De manera adicional, el ITESM utilizará su información personal para las siguientes finalidades que no son necesarias, pero que nos permiten y facilitan brindarle una mejor atención:
- Para enviarle información de ediciones posteriores y nuevos proyectos que se puedan emprender.
- Para generar un perfil sobre usted a través de actividades de análisis de la información y procesos automatizados. Esto nos permite conocer mejor sus características, habilidades e intereses, y así adaptar nuestros servicios de manera más efectiva para satisfacer sus necesidades.
Transferencias
Con base en lo establecido en el artículo 37 de la LFPDPPP, el ITESM podrá transferir sus datos personales sin requerir de su consentimiento en los siguientes supuestos:

- A personas físicas o morales, nacionales o extranjera, para el mantenimiento o cumplimiento de la relación jurídica entre Usted y el ITESM.
El ITESM no transferirá sus datos personales a otras organizaciones para las cuales se requiere su Consentimiento.
El titular de los datos personales y/o quien ejerza la patria potestad en caso de ser menor de edad, manifiesta que conoce, entiende y acepta el presente Aviso de privacidad y por consecuencia consiente el tratamiento de los datos personales, finalidades y transferencias objeto de consentimiento.
Derechos ARCO y/o revocación del consentimiento
Usted o su representante legal podrá ejercer cualquiera de los derechos de acceso, rectificación, cancelación u oposición (en lo sucesivo “derechos arco”), así como revocar su consentimiento para el tratamiento de sus datos personales a través del correo electrónico y siguiendo el procedimiento, requisitos y plazos para el ejercicio de sus derechos ARCO y/o revocación del consentimiento de nuestra página de internet: https://tec.mx/es/derechos-arco-yo-revocacion-del-consentimiento.
Es importante que tenga en cuenta que su solicitud se atenderá en los plazos previstos por la normatividad aplicable y no en todos los casos podremos atender su solicitud o concluir el uso de forma inmediata, ya que es posible que por alguna obligación legal requiramos seguir tratando sus datos personales.
Opciones y medios para limitar el uso o divulgación de sus Datos Personales
Usted podrá limitar el uso o divulgación de sus datos personales en los eventos o actividades que se lleven a cabo virtualmente, no activando la cámara, ni utilizando su imagen personal en la cuenta con la que se conecte y/o no registrándose con su perfil (dependerá de la plataforma utilizada para realizar el evento).
En las comunicaciones por correo electrónico, inscribiéndose en el listado de exclusión (unsubscribe list), cuando ésta está disponible en la propia comunicación.
En los demás casos, Usted podrá limitar el uso o divulgación de sus datos personales enviando su solicitud a datospersonales@itesm.mx.

Enter the Mi Tec portal and search for the Mis Servicios en Campus search mis Residencias Tec to fill out your online application.

Context
The Federation of Private Mexican Institutions of Higher Education (FIMPES) is a non-profit and voluntary membership civil association that gathers 113 Higher Education Private´s Institutions, with 880,000+ students enrolled in 400+ university campuses located in 31 entities across the country.
This accreditation includes educational programs and services at the professional and graduate levels, both in face-to-face and distance learning. Tecnológico de Monterrey has been accredited by FIMPES since 1982.
The most recent reaccreditation was obtained on May 13, 2022 and covers the 2022-2029 period.
Relevance
This accreditation has made possible to convey a message about quality in education and the culture of self-assessment, strengthen leadership in the country and moral authority, as well as ensure continuous improvement processes.

Contexto de la acreditación
La Federación de Instituciones Mexicanas Particulares de Educación Superior (FIMPES) es una asociación civil sin fines de lucro y de afiliación voluntaria que agrupa a 113 Instituciones Particulares de Educación Superior, con más de 880,000 alumnos inscritos en más de 400 campus universitarios ubicados en 31 entidades del país.
Esta acreditación del Tecnológico de Monterrey incluye los programas y servicios educativos de los niveles de profesional y posgrado, tanto en la modalidad presencial como a distancia. El Tecnológico de Monterrey ha estado acreditado por FIMPES desde 1982.
La reacreditación más reciente se obtuvo el 13 de mayo de 2022 y cubre el periodo 2022-2029.
Relevancia de la acreditación
Esta acreditación ha permitido transmitir un mensaje sobre la calidad en la educación y la cultura de la autoevaluación, fortalecer el liderazgo en el país y la autoridad moral, así como asegurar procesos de mejora continua.
