A community space for connection, culture, and well-being
Casa Naranjos is a community space created to strengthen community life within distritotec. It is an open house that promotes coexistence, well-being, and active participation among those who live in and move through the area. Through cultural, educational, and community-based activities, it fosters relationships built on trust, collaboration, and shared responsibility, placing people at the center of urban and social transformation. From a local and everyday perspective, Casa Naranjos shows that cities are also built through care, listening, and meaningful connections.

Solar Community Hub
Social innovation, sustainability, and community learning
Oasis, Solar Community Hub, is a social innovation space that integrates sustainability, community learning, and technology with a human-centered approach.
It fosters community gatherings aimed at reducing the digital and knowledge gap in the Campana–Altamira area and its surroundings, through learning processes focused on developing technological and digital skills. It also provides access to resources in areas such as education, health, and legal and financial guidance, contributing to improving the quality of life of the community.
This project is part of the ‘Iniciativa Campana–Altamira’ and was made possible through the collaboration of Fundación FEMSA, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Dell, UKG, Computer Aid, NIC México, and state and local government.

Skyspace ‘Espíritu de luz’

Skyspace “Esíritu de luz” is an installation by artist James Turrell, internationally recognized for his work with light and perception. Located in Parque Central within distritotec, this piece is part of a global series that invites visitors to observe the sky from a new perspective, making it a landmark of contemporary art worldwide.
The space offers a sensory experience where light, color, and atmosphere shift subtly over time, creating an environment for contemplation, pause, and connection.
Admission is free and open to the public with prior registration through the reservation platform, where available time slots can be selected to visit the installation.
As part of its programming, Light Sequence sessions are held—special experiences that integrate live music and meditation to accompany the light sequence. These activations are developed in collaboration with Laboratorio de Arte A.C., Espacio de Reflexión, the Music Technology and Production program from the School of Humanities, Arts and Culture (LiFE) at Tec de Monterrey, and distritotec, expanding the ways in which this space can be experienced.
