The entity responsible for the personal information that you provide is Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (hereinafter “ITESM”), address Av. Eugenio Garza Sada Sur No. 2501, Colonia Tecnológico, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, C.P. 64700.

Personal data and sensitive personal data processed by ITESM

As part of your registration as a participant in the LiveOnLine, ITESM will collect and process the following categories of personal data: identification (image and voice), contact (including those from your social networks), academic, employment, and professional experience. 
Moreover, in order to fulfill the primary and necessary purposes indicated herein, ITESM will not collect or process any sensitive personal data.
Primary purposes

• ITESM will process your personal information for the following primary and necessary purposes:
• To address, record, and follow up on your request(s) for information.
• To validate the veracity and quality of the information you provided.
• To comply with the admission and enrollment terms, requirements, and procedures for the requested course.
• To arrange and manage electronic access to the systems and technological infrastructure used by ITESM.
• To offer you courses according to your profile or interests.
• To follow up on the progress of your enrollment.
• To process payments and invoicing of the services, where appropriate.
• To send you surveys and evaluations related to the service provided.
• To issue the documents that prove you have completed the course.

We should like to inform you that you cannot ask ITESM to cease from processing your data for the aforementioned primary and necessary purposes, since such processing is necessary to comply with the obligations derived from the legal relationship established with you.

Secondary purposes
If you agree, ITESM will keep your personal data for the following purposes that are not necessary for the service you requested, but that will allow us to provide you with a better service:

• To send you information related to other educational programs, courses, diploma courses, seminars, certificate programs, symposia, workshops, events, and scholarship calls.
• To send you advertising and communications for marketing, tele-marketing or financial campaign purposes.
• To generate statistical reports, after applying a personal data dissociation mechanism.
• To conduct research studies, after applying a personal data dissociation mechanism.
• To create and unify prospective participant profiles, after applying a personal data dissociation mechanism.

If you wish to restrict or suppress the processing of your personal data for any or all of the additional purposes, please contact us immediately by email at the following address: datospersonales@itesm.mx, indicating the following:

1. Full name and email you provided for registration purposes.
2. Copy of your official ID.
3. The name of this Privacy Notice.
4. The name of the course in which you participated or for which you registered.
5. The secondary purpose(s) for which you do not wish your personal data to be used.

Refusal to permit the use of your personal data for additional purposes will not constitute a reason to deny you the services requested or to terminate the relationship established with us.

Transfers
In order to fulfill the aforementioned necessary purposes or any others required by law or by the competent authorities, ITESM will transfer the necessary personal data to the following organizations and for the following ends:

If you do not want ITESM to transfer your personal data for the transfers for which your consent is required, please send us an email to the following address datospersonales@itesm.mx within 5 (five) business days following the date on which you provided us with your data, indicating the following in the body of the message:

2. The name of this Privacy Notice.
3. The date on which your provided us with your personal data.
4. The transfer(s) for which you do not wish your personal data to be transferred.
5. ARCO rights and/or revocation of consent

You or your legal representative can exercise any of your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition (hereinafter “ARCO rights”), and revoke your consent for the processing of your personal data by sending an email to ITESM's Department of Persona Data at the address datospersonales@itesm.mx. Limitation and/or disclosure of your Personal Data
You can limit the use and/or disclosure of your personal data for receiving communications or promotions related to our services by directly registering in the exclusion list the communications for which this possible. For the cases that are not available for inclusion in the exclusion list, please send as an email to datospersonales@itesm.mx, indicating the following:

4. The indication that you wish to be included in ITESM’s General Exclusion List for receiving communications and promotions related to our services.

Use of Cookies
We would like to inform you that some of our webpages use cookies and other technologies that serve to monitor your behavior as an Internet user and to provide you with a better service and browsing experience on our site.
