Edna Jaime Treviño

Edna Jaime serves as Dean of the School of Social Science and Government at Tecnológico de Monterrey, one of the most prestigious universities in Mexico and Latin America.
Until July 2023, she served as the director of Mexico Evalúa, a prominent public policy think-thank focused on improving government accountability through comprehensive analysis and practical recommendations.
With a thirty-year career, her expertise covers various aspects of public policy, including design, analysis, and evaluation, as well as building partnerships across public, private, social and academic sectors. Her primary focus areas have been the rule of law, justice, public safety, and transparency, earning her recognition as a trusted source for policy analysis by major media outlets in Mexico and internationally.
Her leadership journey began in 2002 when she took on the role of General Director at CIDAC, where she revamped research, increased visibility, and formed strategic alliances. In 2009, she founded Mexico Evalúa, which has grown into one of North America’s most influential think tanks.
In 2015, she played a pivotal role in designing Mexico’s National Anticorruption System and led the selection process for its Citizen Participation Committee. In 2018, she became a member of the Executive Committee of the Paris Peace Forum, receiving recognition from the French government for her contributions to global development.
In addition to her roles, she holds positions as a Global Fellow at the Wilson Center and as an Associate at the Mexican Council of International Affairs (COMEXI).
