Advanced Design Processes for Sustainable Transformation

About the Group

The future we face requires making a conscious effort to create. The new design narratives involve forecasting manufacturing processes and technologies that move consumption habits toward sustainable living. This research group comprises experts redefining the advanced processes of interactions, education, and materiality.

Beyond the aesthetics, functionality, and implementation of products, the design also integrates the intangible, the complex, and the systemic, which allows us to question its action and integral effectiveness. Configuring environments, objects, images, or services today requires pedagogies, methods, and prototyping that reflect the value of advanced design processes.
