The entity responsible for the personal information you provide is Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (hereinafter “ITESM”), operating at the address Av. Eugenio Garza Sada Sur No. 2501, Colonia Tecnológico, Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, C.P. 64700.

Personal data and sensitive personal data processed by ITESM

In order to comply with the purposes of processing indicated in this Privacy Notice, it is necessary for ITESM to process the following personal data categories:


- Identification data (including photo identification and biometrics related to facial recognition);
- Authentication data;
- Contact data;
- Location data;
- Academic background data;
- Employment data;
- Related to your areas of interest;
- Financial and/or patrimonial data.

Likewise, we inform you that, in order to comply with the purposes indicated in this Privacy Notice, ITESM will not gather or process sensitive data.

Primary Purposes

ITESM will process your personal data to fulfill the following primary and necessary purposes:

  • Identify you, validate your identity, issue you access credentials and allow you to enter our facilities.
  • Guarantee the safety and physical integrity of the people who are in our facilities and/or are part of ITESM.
  • To manage the request(s) you make in relation to the services ITESM provides or may provide to you.
  • For the evaluation, improvement, administration, procurement and delivery of all services we offer (including the design and development of new services) and perform all activities that are necessary for academic and extracurricular development and to contribute to your integral formation.
  • To validate the veracity and quality of the information provided by you or that which may be obtained from other lawful sources to which ITESM may have access, including the verification of your data before governmental agencies or third parties.
  • To allow your participation in the requested academic activities as well as to make the necessary arrangements to provide you with the products or services you require;
  • To fulfill and follow up on the procedures and institutional activities foreseen in guides, procedures, regulations, standards, codes or internal policies.
  • If applicable, to manage electronic access to ITESM’s systems and technological infrastructure.
  • Disclose your opinions to third parties regarding our products and services.
  • To use your personal image (whether in the form of photography, video, or any other similar medium) to make internal and external publications about your academic career, participation in events, as well as to promote ITESM.
  • Manage the issuance, delivery and reissuance of the physical and/or digital documents that certify that you have completed the course and/or training program.
  • Manage payments, discounts when applicable, refunds and billing for products and services provided to you, including collection activities.
  • When applicable, to keep record of your credit history and behavior.
  • When necessary, to report to the credit bureau database that you have failed to comply with the payment obligation derived from the legal relationship with ITESM, in which case, the use of your information will be governed by the provisions of the Ley para Regular las Sociedades de Información Crediticia.
  • To keep a historical and statistical record of the products and services purchased by you as well as to customize our service offerings according to your interests.
  • To comply with the obligations contracted between a third party that contract with us to provide you with our services.
  • If applicable, to manage your participant profile.
  • To fulfill the obligations provided for in the applicable regulations.

We should also like to inform you that you cannot request ITESM to cease from processing your data for the aforementioned primary and necessary purposes, since such processing is necessary to fulfill the obligations derived from the relationship between you and ITESM.

Secondary purposes

Additionally, ITESM will use your personal information for the following purposes that are not necessary for the requested service, but will enable us to offer you the best possible attention:

  • To send you, our own or third party, information that we believe may be of interest to you, or that may be related to the products and services we offer. For the application of surveys and evaluations.
  • To send you publicity and communications for marketing, telemarketing or financial campaign purposes.
  • To carry out statistic reports, prior dissociation of your personal data through an appropriate mechanism.
  • To carry out research studies, prior dissociation of your personal data through an appropriate mechanism.
  • To develop and to consolidate prospective student profiles, prior dissociation of your personal data through an appropriate mechanism.

It is important that you keep in mind that, in case you give your consent, it will remain valid even when the legal relationship between you and ITESM has ended, which means that ITESM may continue to process your personal data necessary to fulfill these secondary purposes.

Transfers

Based on the provisions of article 37 of the LFPDPPP, ITESM may transfer your personal data without requiring your consent in the following cases:

  • To controlling companies, subsidiaries or affiliates under common control of the responsible party, or to a parent company or any company of the same group of the responsible party that operates under the same internal processes and policies;
  • Competent authorities in the cases foreseen by the applicable regulations, in the event that we receive a mandatory requirement.

ARCO rights and/or revocation of consent

You or your legal representative can exercise any of your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition (hereinafter “ARCO rights”), and revoke your consent for the processing of your personal data by sending an email to: datospersonales@itesm.mx, and following the procedures, requirements and deadlines for the exercise of your ARCO rights and/or revocation of consent of our website: https://tec.mx/es/derechos-arco-yo-revocacion-del-consentimiento.

It is important that you keep in mind that your request will be answered within the timeframes provided by the applicable regulations and not in all cases we will be able to answer your request or conclude the use immediately, since it is possible that due to some legal obligation we may need to continue processing your personal data.

Limitation and / or Disclosure of your Personal Data

You may limit the use or disclosure of your personal data in events or activities that are carried out through digital tools and platforms, by not activating the camera, not using your personal image in the account with which you connect and/or not registering with your profile (it will depend on the platform used to carry out the event or activity).

Use of Cookies

ITESM uses several technologies to improve the efficiency of the Platform including your experience when navigating the site. Identidad y domicilio del Responsable

El Responsable de los datos personales que usted proporciona es El Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (en lo sucesivo “ITESM”) con domicilio ubicado en Av. Eugenio Garza Sada Sur No. 2501, colonia Tecnológico en Monterrey, Nuevo León. C.P. 64700.

Datos personales y datos personales sensibles tratados por ITESM

Para cumplir con las finalidades de tratamiento señaladas en el presente Aviso de Privacidad, es necesario que el ITESM trate las siguientes categorías de datos personales:

- Identificación (incluyendo su imagen personal a través fotografías)
- Autenticación;
- Contacto;
- Ubicación;
- Fiscales;
- Antecedentes académicos;
- Laborales;
- Relacionados a las áreas de interés;
- Patrimoniales y/o financieros

Asimismo, le informamos que, para cumplir con las finalidades señaladas en el presente Aviso, ITESM no recabará ni tratará datos personales sensibles.

Finalidades primarias

ITESM podrá tratar sus datos personales para cumplir con las siguientes finalidades primarias:

  • Identificarle, validar su identidad, experdirle credenciales de acceso y permitir su ingreso a nuestras instalacion.
  • Garantizar la seguridad e integridad física de las personas que se encuentren en nuestras instalaciones y/o formen parte de ITESM.
  • Para gestionar la(s) solicitud(es) que Usted realice en relación con los productos y servicios que el ITESM brinda o podría brindarle.
  • Para la evaluación, mejoramiento, administración, procuración y otorgamiento de los productos y servicios que ofrecemos (incluyendo el diseño y desarrollo de nuevos productos y servicios) y realizar todas las actividades que resulten necesarias para dar cumplimiento a las obligaciones contraídas con Usted.
  • Validar la veracidad y calidad de la información proporcionada por Usted o aquella que pueda obtenerse de otras fuentes lícitas a las que el ITESM pueda tener acceso, incluyendo la verificación de sus datos ante instancias gubernamentales o terceros con los que tengamos celebrados acuerdos de colaboración.
  • Para permitir su participación en las actividades académicas solicitadas así como realizar las gestiones necesarias para proporcionarle los productos o servicios que requiera;
  • Dar cumplimiento y seguimiento a los procedimientos y actividades institucionales previstos en guías, procedimientos, reglamentos, normas, códigos o políticas de carácter interno que resulten aplicables.
  • En caso de que aplique, para gestionar y administrar el acceso electrónico a los sistemas e infraestructura tecnológica que se utiliza para que Usted reciba nuestros productos y servicios.
  • Dar a conocer sus opiniones a terceros en relación con nuestros productos y servicios.
  • Para utilizar su imagen personal (ya sea en formato de fotografía, video, o cualquier otro medio similar) para hacer publicaciones internas y externas sobre su participación en nuestros servicios, así como para promocionar al ITESM.
  • Gestionar la expedición, entrega y reexpedición de los documentos físicos y/o digitales que acrediten que Usted ha completado el curso y/o programa de capacitación.
  • Gestionar los pagos, descuentos cuando apliquen, reembolsos y la facturación por los productos y servicios que le hayan sido proporcionados, incluyendo las actividades de cobranza.
  • En los casos que aplique, para llevar un registro de su historial y comportamiento crediticio.
  • En los casos que lo requiera, para enviar a la base de datos del buró de crédito en caso de que usted incumpla con la obligación de pago derivada de la relación jurídica con ITESM, en cuyo caso, el uso de su información se regirá de conformidad con lo establecido por la Ley para Regular las Sociedades de Información Crediticia.
  • Llevar un registro histórico y estadístico de los productos y servicios adquiridos por Usted así como para personalizar nuestra oferta de servicios de acuerdo con sus intereses.
  • Cuando su participación devenga de que un tercero nos ha contratado para que Usted reciba los servicios, para dar cumplimiento a las obligaciones contraídas con el contratante.
  • En caso de que aplique, para gestionar su perfil de participante.
  • Dar cumplimiento a obligaciones previstas en la normatividad aplicable.

Le informamos que usted no puede oponerse para que el ITESM cese el tratamiento de sus datos para las finalidades primarias y necesarias, anteriormente mencionadas, en virtud de que el tratamiento es necesario para cumplir obligaciones derivadas de la relación entre usted e ITESM.

Finalidades secundarias

De manera adicional, el ITESM utilizará su información personal para las siguientes finalidades que no son necesarias para el servicio que nos solicita, pero que nos permiten y facilitan brindarle una mejor atención:

  • Para enviarle información propia o de terceros que consideramos podría ser de su interés, o bien, que pudiera estar relacionada con los productos y servicios que ofrecemos. Para la aplicación de encuestas y evaluaciones.
  • Para enviarle publicidad y comunicaciones con fines de mercadotecnia, tele-marketing o campañas financieras.
  • Para realizar reportes estadísticos, previa aplicación de un mecanismo de disociación de los datos personales.
  • Para realizar estudios de investigación, previa aplicación de un mecanismo de disociación de los datos personales.
  • Para el desarrollo y unificación de perfiles de prospectos, previa aplicación de mecanismos de disociación de los datos personales.

Si usted no desea que ITESM trate sus datos personales para alguna de las finalidades descritas en este apartado, por favor envíe un correo electrónico a datospersonales@itesm.mx. Usted podrá cambiar de opción en cualquier momento, siguiendo el procedimiento, requisitos y plazos para el ejercicio de sus Derechos ARCO y/o revocación del consentimiento en nuestra página de internet: https://tec.mx/es/derechos-arco-yo-revocacion-del-consentimiento.

Es importante que tenga presente que, en caso de otorgar su consentimiento, este seguirá siendo válido incluso cuando hubiere terminado la relación jurídica entre usted y ITESM, lo que significa que ITESM podrá seguir tratando sus datos personales necesarios para cumplir con las presentes finalidades secundarias.

Transferencias

Con base en lo establecido en el artículo 37 de la LFPDPPP, el ITESM podrá transferir sus datos personales sin requerir de su consentimiento en los siguientes supuestos:

  • A sociedades controladoras, subsidiarias o afiliadas bajo el control común del responsable, o a una sociedad matriz o cualquier sociedad del mismo grupo del responsable que opere bajo los mismos procesos y políticas internas;
  • Autoridades competentes en los casos previstos por la normatividad aplicable, en el caso que recibiéramos un requerimiento de obligado cumplimiento.
  • Cuando sea precisa para el mantenimiento o cumplimiento de la relación jurídica entre Usted y el ITESM, como lo es el caso de Personas físicas o morales, nacionales o internacionales con las que se haya convenido:

Derechos ARCO y/o revocación del consentimiento

Usted o su representante legal podrá ejercer cualquiera de los derechos de acceso, rectificación, cancelación u oposición (en lo sucesivo “derechos arco”), así como revocar su consentimiento para el tratamiento de sus datos personales enviando un correo electrónico a: datospersonales@itesm.mx, y siguiendo el procedimiento, requisitos y plazos para el ejercicio de sus Derechos ARCO y/o revocación del consentimiento en nuestra página de internet: https://tec.mx/es/derechos-arco-yo-revocacion-del-consentimiento.

Opciones y medios para limitar el uso o divulgación de sus datos

Usted podrá limitar el uso o divulgación de sus datos personales en los eventos o actividades que se lleven a cabo a través de herramientas y plataformas digitales, no activando la cámara, no utilizando su imagen personal en la cuenta con la que se conecte y/o no registrándose con su perfil (dependerá de la plataforma que se utilice para llevar a cabo el evento o actividad).

En las comunicaciones por correo electrónico, inscribiéndose a la lista de desinscripción (unsuscribe list), cuando ésta está disponible en la propia comunicación.

En los demás casos, Usted podrá limitar el uso o divulgación de sus datos personales enviando su solicitud a datospersonales@itesm.mx.

Los requisitos para acreditar su identidad, así como el procedimiento para atender su solicitud se regirán por los mismos criterios señalados en nuestra página de internet: https://tec.mx/es/derechos-arco-yo-revocacion-del-consentimiento. En caso de que resulte procedente, se le registrará en el listado de exclusión propio del ITESM.

Departamento de Datos Personales del ITESM

Es importante hacer de su conocimiento que el ITESM cuenta con un Departamento de Datos Personales el cual, como parte de sus funciones, tiene la de resolver cualquier duda que usted pudiere tener relacionada con el uso de su información. Asimismo, el Departamento de Datos Personales dará seguimiento a cualquier queja o reclamación que usted pudiere tener relacionada con el tratamiento de su información personal.

En caso de considerarlo necesario, le informamos que tiene el derecho de acudir ante el Instituto Nacional de Transparencia Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI) para hacer valer cualquier inconformidad relacionada con el tratamiento de sus datos personales por parte del ITESM.

Cambios al Aviso de Privacidad

El ITESM se reserva el derecho, bajo su exclusiva discreción, de cambiar, modificar, agregar o eliminar partes del presente Aviso de Privacidad en cualquier momento. ¿Cómo se fue construyendo el campus?
BiblioTec es un edificio inteligente con una superficie de 12,100 m2 y produce hasta 20 % de su propia energía, algunas de sus características son que la temperatura interior en todo momento será la misma, las persianas están automatizadas para que bajen y suban según la posición del Sol, manteniendo una sombra natural por dentro y las ventanas cuentan con filtro de rayos UV para proteger a quienes se encuentran al interior. Cada uno de los espacios posee sensores de movimiento, por lo que la energía eléctrica se concentrará solamente en dónde haya actividad. 

La arquitectura de los Edificios 1 y 2 es muy similar a la de BiblioTec. Edificio 1 cuenta con una superficie de construcción de 25,900 m2, mientras que Edificio 2 posee 20,400 m2.

Cada edificio tendrá diferentes tipos de aulas con salones convencionales, aulas bloque y espacios colaborativos, para sacar el mayor provecho a nuestro Modelo Educativo Tec 21.

Además, cuentan con terrazas para estudiantes, profesores y colaboradores, lo que permitirá a nuestra comunidad encontrar muchas opciones de esparcimiento, colaboración y momentos para darse una pausa entre clases y proyectos.

  • El proyecto del Nuevo Campus Ciudad de México comenzó en 2016 con un plan maestro que adicionalmente incluyó una consulta a la comunidad Tec, en la que se determinó cómo funcionarían y serían los nuevos espacios considerando el entorno inmediato.
  • Con una fuerza de trabajo de más de 1,800 trabajadores de la construcción, bajo el liderazgo de Grupo Beck y su equipo multidisciplinario de especialistas en arquitectura y obra, así como el equipo de infraestructura del Tecnológico de Monterrey, es que hoy, los primeros resultados de la construcción del Nuevo Campus Ciudad de México son una realidad. 
  • El sueño ha iniciado.

Tecnológico de Monterrey is an institution of and for society.

Tecnológico de Monterrey is an institution of the society and for the society.

A fundamental pillar for the fulfillment of its vision is to have a solid and transparent institutional governance structure.

The supreme governing body of Tec de Monterrey is the Assembly of Associates which is made up of leaders from different communities in Mexico, teachers and collaborators of the institution; Its responsibility is to safeguard the vision and values of Tecnológico de Monterrey and assist in the establishment and fulfillment of its strategy, as well as in the management of its resources and talent.

A Board of Directors is appointed from the members of the Assembly of Associates, in charge of ensuring the good operation and functioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey. This work is supported by a series of Councils and Committees.

Additionally, the Board of Directors of Tec de Monterrey has the support of Advocating Councils and Committees, Subcommittees, Advisory Councils, and Campus Councils. All the governing bodies of Tecnológico de Monterrey have a Secretary, who are collaborators of the institution.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is in charge of the Tecnológico de Monterrey’s operations.

The Board is chaired by Ricardo Saldívar Escajadillo and consists of 19 members who are business and civil society leaders

Ricardo Saldívar Escajadillo, President of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of our Institution since 2016. He has been a member of various governing bodies since 2012. Since 2021 he has been a member of the Institutional Governance Committee of Tecnológico de Monterrey and in February 2023 he began his role as President.

Until June 2017, he was President and General Director of The Home Depot in Mexico, a position he held since 2001. Prior to The Home Depot, he worked for more than 21 years at Grupo ALFA. Ricardo Saldívar Escajadillo holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. He also holds a diploma in Business Management from IPADE.

Alfonso Garza Garza, General Director of Strategic Businesses of FEMSA.

Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2006. He joined the Institutional Governance Committee in 2016 and has presided over the Talent Committee of our Institution since 2023.

Alfonso Garza, is also a member of the Boards of Coca-Cola FEMSA, FEMSA Foundation, COPARMEX National, CCE, CESNE and the Eugenio Garza Sada Award. He holds a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MBA from IPADE.

Alejandra Clariond Rangel, CEO and shareholder of Phiten México SA de CV.

She is an advisor and shareholder of Grupo Cleber, S.A. de C.V. Additionally, she currently presides over the Board of the Alejandra Rangel de Clariond Foundation and the Mexican Diabetes Association in Nuevo León.

She is a member of the TecSalud Council and, in February 2025, joined the Board of Trustees of the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

She holds a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Master of Science with a specialization in Industrial Engineering, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

He is a member of the Board of the Mexico City Region of Tecnológico de Monterrey, and President of the Board of Universidad Tecmilenio. He is a member of the Executive Committee of COPARMEX National, President of Consejo Ariza de México, Autocosmos.com Inc, Kromtek Inc. and V4B, Co-Founder and President of Más Ciudadanía A.C. and President of the Board of Fundación Corporación Zapata A.C.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Blanca Avelina Treviño de Vega, President and CEO of Softek, a global company and the largest distributor of IT services in Latin America, with a large portfolio of products and business-transforming solutions.

Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2012.

She is a member of the Board of Universidad Tecmilenio. She is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Walmart Mexico, Goldcorp, the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA), and COPARMEX. She graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a degree in Administrative Computer Systems.

César A. Montemayor Zambrano, Founder and Honorary President of InverCap Afore. Prior to InverCap, he spent 14 years managing global investment funds in New York and Paris at JP Morgan, Greenwich Capital, and his own company.

He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2018. He serves as the President of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and is a member of the Financial Heritage Subcommittee of Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Tecmilenio University, Grupo Financiero Santander (México), Coparmex Nacional, and various civic and cultural institutions.

He holds a degree in Chemical and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master's degree in Science from Columbia University in New York.

David Garza Salazar, President

David Garza Salazar has a career of almost 40 years at Tecnológico de Monterrey where he has held various academic and managerial positions, such as Director of Research and Postgraduate Studies; Dean of Information Technologies and Electronics, and of the School of Engineering at the Monterrey Campus. He was also San Luis Potosí Campus´ General Director, Monterrey´s Metropolitan Zone Provost, Vice Rector of Professional and Tecnológico de Monterrey´s Provost, promoting the development of Educational Model.

Has been a member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2020. In his role as Executive President he also supervises Universidad Tecmilenio and TecSalud.

He is a Computer Systems Engineer from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a Doctorate in Computer Science from Colorado State University.

Chairman of the global network of universities Universitas 21 (U21), member of the Board of Trustees of the American accreditor SACSCOC, of the Steering Committee of the Association of Asia Pacific Universities (APRU), of the Presidents Council of the University of the People and member from The Edison Alliance leadership group of the World Economic Forum. He has been invited as a speaker and panelist at international events in more than 20 countries.

Eduardo Garza, President of the Board of Directors of Frisa Industrias.

Has been a member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2023, and a member of the Board of the School of Engineering since 2018. He is an Industrial Engineer and Economist graduated from Carnegie Mellon University. He earned his MBA from Harvard University.

Has worked in various positions within the company Frisa Industrias since 1996, highlighting the General Management of Frisa Aerospace from 2005 to 2011 and the General Management of Frisa Industrias from 2011 to 2020.

Eduardo Osuna Osuna, Vice President and General Director of BBVA Mexico.

He is known for being a comprehensive banking executive with a broad vision of all the businesses and segments served by a bank, a result of his extensive career in the BBVA financial group.

He is the President of the Board of Trustees for the Campuses in the Mexico City Area and joined the Board of Trustees of the Tecnológico de Monterrey in February 2025.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering from La Salle University and a Master's in Senior Management from IPADE.

Enrique Zambrano Benitez, General Director of Grupo Proeza, Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Proeza, a Mexican company which through its divisions, Metalsa, Citrofrut and Zanitas, is engaged in the manufacture of components for the automotive sector, the cultivation of citrus products and medical and hospital services, with operations in 16 countries.

Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 1990.

He is a member of the Institutional Governance Committee and the Board of the EGADE Business School of Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is President of the Mexico-Japan Business Committee of COMCE. He is currently a member of the Board of different companies and financial institutions. He received his professional degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Stanford University.

Eugenio Garza Herrera, XIGNUX´s Board of Directors Chairman, leaders in energy and food industries, employing over 30,000 people.

Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 1994.

He is President of the Development Committee and member of the Institutional Governance Committee of Tecnológico de Monterrey. In addition, he is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Regional Boards of Banco de México, Corporación EG, Aeroméxico, Banco Nacional de México, S.A. (Banamex) and Mitsui de México. Garza Herrera graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey and completed an MBA at Tulane University.

Eva Garza Lagüera Gonda, FEMSA. Member of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s board of trustees since 1997.

She is president of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s distritotec Committee. She is the founder of Alternativas Pacíficas, A.C. and member of the board of directors for FEMSA and Coca-Cola FEMSA. She is also a member of the board of trustees for the Eugenio Garza Sada prize. She received a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Javier Gerardo Astaburuaga Sanjines, Independent Consultant.

He has extensive experience as an Executive at FEMSA where he worked throughout his professional career, holding various managerial positions both in the Beer Business (Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma), where he served as Co-General Director, as well as in the Corporate field where for more than a decade he was Director of Finance, Planning and Development (CFO) of the Group.

He is currently a board member of Coca Cola FEMSA and Grupo Acosta Verde, as well as an alternate board member at FEMSA.

He has been a Board Member of other companies, notably Heineken where he was a board member for 12 years. He has been a member of the Finance and Investment Committee of ITESM since 2016, and, since February 2025, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Public Accounting from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

José Antonio Fernández Carbajal, Executive President of the Board of Directors of FEMSA.

Served as President of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2012 to 2023. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1990 and a member of the Institutional Governance Committee of our Institution.

He is President of the Board of Coca-Cola FEMSA. He is also Vice President of the Board of Heineken NV, where he also presides the Sustainability and Responsibility Committee. He is a member of the Board of Industrias Peñoles, a member of the Global Advisory Board of the Council for Foreign Relations and a member of the Board of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has been a professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey for more than 30 years.

Mariana Garza Lagüera Gonda, FEMSA.

Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2007.

She is a member of the Academic and Research Council of Tecnológico de Monterrey. She is an Industrial and Systems Engineer from Tecnológico de Monterrey and graduated with a Master's degree in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

She is a private investor. She is also a board member of FEMSA, Coca-Cola FEMSA, Museo de Historia Mexicana in Monterrey, and Let's Do It Right, a citizen's movement to build an improved city through a culture of legality.

Rafael Reif

Born in Venezuela. Obtained his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Carabobo, and his doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Served as the 17th president of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for the term 2012-2022.

In terms of education, his central focus has been the development of online learning. He´s been a member of the MIT faculty since 1980 and the inventor and co-inventor of 13 patents. Dr. Reif has served as director of the MIT Microsystems Technology Laboratories, as head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), and as provost. He has been part of the Board of Directors of our Institution since 2023.

Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2007.

He is President of the Academic and Research Council and former President of the Enlace E+E Council of Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo Garza, the Advisory Board of Citibanamex, the Regional Board of Banco de México and the Mexican Business Council. He is also a professor in the area of business entrepreneurship and a member of the Executive Committee of the Business Incubator of Tecnológico de Monterrey. Tomás Milmo Santos, Co-President of the Board of Directors of AXTEL.

Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2005.

He is President of the Board of TecSalud. He is also founder, President and CEO of Grupo Perseus Energy, and interim CEO of Sirius Energía. He founded AXTEL in 1994, served in AXTEL as CEO until 2016, and President of the Board from 2004 to 2016. He is a member of the Board of Directors of CEMEX and Promotora Ambiental, S.A.B. de C.V. He earned his degree in Economics from Stanford University.

Ricardo Robinson Bours Castelo, President of the Ciudad Obregón Campus Board of Trustees.

He is a Member of the Board of Trustees of Grupo Bours, which includes companies such as Tepeyac, Bachoco, Megacable, automobile agencies Ford, Chrysler, DFAC Dongfeng, Bestune, among others. Currently, he is a business associate of different companies and participates in business organizations like Coparmex and CONACO Cajeme. He is also a member of the Banking Board in Sonora and México. Jens Hagedorns Hermann, President of the Cuernavaca Campus board of trustees.

Marisa Lazo Corvera President of the Guadalajara Campus Board of Trustees.

Founder and director of Pastelerías Marisa, since 1992; she has more than 100 branches, including Dolce Natura and Pastelería Tía Lola. She is a graduate of the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA), with a degree in Psychology; she has a master's degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Asociación Psicoanalítica Jalisciense.

She is president of the Board of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara, and is also a member of the board of COPARMEX, DIF Jalisco, Chamber of Commerce, Jalisco Como Vamos and the Regional Board of Banco IXE – Banorte. She is the author of the book "Ambition is also sweet"; she also has her own podcast "Sharing with Marisa" which is listened to in more than 5 countries; she has also participated in two seasons of the series Shark Tank Mexico as a shark.

Romualdo Telleria Beltrán President of the Hidalgo Campus Board of Trustees.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Industrial Tellería and General Director of SYCSA, leading companies in their respective sectors. Additionally, he founded various companies focused on engineering and technology and created the Romualdo Tellería Armendáriz Technological Development Center. He is a promoter of tech startups in Silicon Valley.

He has chaired the BBVA Advisory Board in Hidalgo since 2006 and has been a board member of the institution since 1997. He has also been President of the Hidalgo Campus Board of Trustees since 1985.

Romualdo is an Industrial and Systems Engineer from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, with studies in senior management and administration. His career is distinguished by his leadership and commitment to business and technological development in Mexico and the Americas.

Salvador Cayón Ceballos President of the Irapuato Campus Board of Trustees.

Entrepreneur focused on the real estate sector, he was born on June 27, 1970, his father, Don Melchor Alfonso Cayón Villanueva was the founder of the Irapuato Campus.

Alberto Francisco Allegre del Cueto President of the Laguna Campus Board of Trustees.

He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, in 1977 and obtained a Master of Science degree from Stanford University, from which he graduated in 1979. He is currently a managing partner of Alfa Constructores S.A. de C.V.

He worked as resident engineer in several works for the company Nor-Ingenieros, S.A. de C.V.. Member of the board of directors of TV Azteca Laguna. Participated in the mixed commission Conagua in the National Chamber of Construction Comarca Lagunera, Coahuila and Durango. He is an active member of the Mexican Association of Civil Engineers. He was president of the Club of Sembradores de Amistad Laguna and member of the board of Coparmex Laguna. He was president of FOMEC Laguna. Since 1991, he has been an advisor of Education and Technology of the Laguna Tec de Monterrey Campus Laguna.

Mario Orozco Arena President of the León Campus Board of Trustees.

He holds a degree in Chemical and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. He holds a master's degree in Textile Sciences from Clemson University in South Carolina. He is assistant general manager of Grupo Polímeros y Derivados. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Imagina Foundation, president of Grupo Moda and founding member of the RETO Program of collaborative networks.

He has been a member of the board of directors of: León Convention and Exhibition Center, Hormas el Árbol, Grupo Alcón, SAPICA, Explora and Centros del Saber. He actively participated in the study of Guanajuato Siglo XXI as well as in the positions of the Leather - Footwear sector of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Eduardo Ramírez Díaz, President of the Morelia Campus Board of Trustees.

He received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, and completed the International Businessman Leaders Program promoted by Tecnológico de Monterrey in Asia.

He is currently the general director at Citelis. He is a board member and advisor of the two divisions of the Ramírez Organization (Cinépolis and Citelis). He serves on the board of trustees of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Morelia Campus, and the board of directors of BBVA Bancomer, Banamex and Banorte.

He is the cofounder of Attendo Financiera.

Citelis, Desarrolladora de Organización Ramírez, was established in the 1970s as the result of the vision of its founder, Enrique Ramírez Miguel. Along with his sons, Enrique, Marco Antonio, Eduardo Florentino and Jaime, he entered into the real estate market to supplement and diversify the cinematography business that is known today as Cinépolis.

Helmut Fernando Huber Herrera, President of the Querétaro Campus Board of Trustees.

He is the Founding President and General Manager of Remetec S. de R.L. de C.V. (precision machine components) and Director of HEI Global Consulting S.C. (management and industrial consulting).

He has more than 30 years of experience in companies in the automotive industry, in which he has developed a solid career in Sales Management and Administration. He is a member of the Core team of the MIT REAP program, a regional entrepreneurship acceleration program. Also, he is the President of Enlace + Querétaro chapter since 2016, a program for the professionalization of companies in the post-acceleration stage.

He has a degree in Administrative Computer Systems and a Public Accountant from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Also, he studied Mechanical Apprentice at Index Werke in Esslingen, Germany.

Patricia Lozano Meade, President of the San Luis Potosí Campus Board of Trustees.

Current Abastecedores Pecuarios Lozano (APELSA)´s General Manager (since 2016). Under her wing, APELSA has become an international company exporting to over 20 countries. She began her professional path in APELSA as traffic controller, setting a strong foundation. She has also contributed in several councils and communitarian organisms, such as Coparmex´s sports council (from San Luis Potosí), San Luis Potosí´s firefighter committee, ESPAC´s manager council and Civi society´s strengthening council, proving a huge social commitment and involvement.

She´s been a member of San Luis Potosí campus council (2017) transitioning to President (2025).

She graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 1997 with a B.A. in Global Business. Hers is a story of leadership and dedication.
