Erasmus+ Scholarships 

for Student Mobility

Academic Term: AD2026

 

With the aim of promoting internationalization and providing new opportunities that contribute to students’ academic, professional, and personal development, Tecnológico de Monterrey, in collaboration with its European partner universities and with the support of the Erasmus+ Program, offers financial support scholarships to enable more students to undertake an academic exchange abroad during their undergraduate studies in the August–December 2026 semester.

- Financial support of up to €1,735 for the purchase of a round-trip flight to the host country. *

- Monthly financial support of up to €900 to cover living expenses during the study period in the host city. *

 

*The specific amounts per program may vary. These figures represent the upper limits of some of the available scholarships. Note: Any additional costs not covered by the Erasmus+ scholarship must be covered by the participating student (e.g., international health insurance, visa fees, security deposits, etc.).

1. Be a regular undergraduate student enrolled at any Tecnológico de Monterrey campus during the February–June 2026 semester.

2. Accumulative GPA of 95 or higher as of the most recent academic period.

3. Hold a Tecnológico de Monterrey socioeconomic scholarship of 50% or higher.

4. Be enrolled in the 5th semester or beyond and have at least 6 available academic units (equivalent to a full semester load) to be completed abroad.

5. Not previously participated in any international program during undergraduate studies (summer, winter, or semester), under any modality (exchange, study abroad, professional internships, research stays, etc.).

6. Not be under any academic or disciplinary probation.

7. Meet the specific admission requirements of the selected host university (please refer to the table with details for each opportunity).

 

Documents Required to Prepare Your Application File

- Curriculum Vitae (free format, maximum one page).

- Copy of your academic transcript (Kardex) up to the current semester.

- Copy of a valid language proficiency certificate required by the host university.

- Digital copy of your socioeconomic scholarship certificate.

- Statement of Purpose / Motivation Letter (brief and concise, maximum one page) addressing the following questions:

1. Why do you deserve to be awarded an Erasmus+ scholarship?

2. Why did you choose the host university for this international academic experience?

3. What personal and professional objectives do you expect to achieve by participating in this international exchange program?

Once you have compiled your application file in the order listed above, you must complete the online registration form and upload all documents in a single PDF file with a maximum size of 10 MB. The application link is the following: Application Form.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, February 20, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

All applications will be considered by the Evaluation Committee provided that they:

-Submit a complete application file and all required documentation within the established deadline and through the indicated communication channels.

-Meet all the general eligibility requirements outlined above, as well as the specific admission requirements of the selected host university.

-Students applying for Erasmus+ scholarships may not participate in the first round of placement allocations, as it is not possible to have two active application processes at the same time. If an Erasmus+ scholarship applicant is found to have an active application in the first-round placement process, their scholarship application will be cancelled. Students who apply for this scholarship and are not selected may apply to the regular International Programs (IP) offer starting from the second round.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the Vice-Rectory for Internationalization, which will award the scholarships in accordance with the guidelines set out in this call. · The selection of candidates will be carried out by the Committee, and its decision will be final and not subject to appeal.

· Failure to meet the admission requirements of the international exchange program will result in the student being unable to make use of the Erasmus+ scholarship benefits.

· The scholarship award is granted exclusively for the designated exchange program and for the indicated academic period. It is not transferable to other programs or academic periods.

· The Erasmus+ scholarship nomination letter will be issued once the selected students submit a digital copy of their admission letter from the host university to the Vice-Rectory for Internationalization.

Selected participants commit to:

1. Comply with the admission and application process of the host university by following the procedures established by the Tecnológico de Monterrey International Programs Office.

2. Complete all required documentation for the processing and disbursement of the scholarship and submit digital copies to the Vice-Rectory for Internationalization for record-keeping purposes.

3. Enroll in and complete a full academic course load during their exchange period abroad.

4. Upon return, submit a written testimonial to the Vice-Rectory for Internationalization and attach photographs documenting the academic experience.

5. Submit the participant report and complete the online survey on different aspects of their Erasmus+ experience, as required by the Erasmus+ Programme and/or the host university.
