Erasmus+ Scholarships
for Student Mobility
Academic Term: FJ2027
The Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union promotes international mobility and academic cooperation among higher education institutions. Through this call, Tecnológico de Monterrey offers its students the opportunity to undertake an academic exchange at European partner universities with financial support provided by the Erasmus+ Programme.
With the aim of promoting internationalization and providing new opportunities that contribute to students’ academic, professional, and personal development, Tecnológico de Monterrey, in collaboration with its European partner universities and with the support of the Erasmus+ Program, offers financial support scholarships to enable more students to undertake an academic exchange abroad during their undergraduate studies in the February–June 2027 semester.
Eligible Applicants
Undergraduate students who have not previously had academic experience abroad.
The Erasmus+ scholarship provides financial support to help cover international mobility expenses:
• Travel grant: Up to €1,735 to support transportation to the host country. *
• Individual support: Up to €900 per month to contribute toward living expenses during the study period at the host university. *
* Scholarship amounts may vary depending on the host university. The amounts indicated represent the maximum funding available for each mobility opportunity.
Applicants must:
1. Be a regularly enrolled undergraduate student at Tecnológico de Monterrey during the Fall 2026 semester (August–December 2026).
2. Have a cumulative GPA of 95/100 or higher.
3. Hold a need-based scholarship awarded by Tecnológico de Monterrey covering at least 50% of tuition.
4. Be enrolled in the fifth semester or above, with at least one full semester (minimum six academic units) remaining to be completed through the exchange program.
5. Have not previously participated in an international academic mobility program during their undergraduate studies (including semester exchange, summer or winter programs, study abroad, internships, research stays, or similar programs).
6. Be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
7. Meet the admission requirements established by the selected host university (Applicants should review the specific requirements for each mobility opportunity).
8. Cover any expenses not financed by the Erasmus+ scholarship, including international medical insurance, visa fees, deposits, and any other personal expenses associated with the mobility.
Applicants must submit the following documents as part of their application:
• Curriculum Vitae (Harvard CV format, maximum one page).
• Statement of Purpose (maximum one page), clearly explaining your motivation for participating in the program by addressing the following questions:
1. Why did you choose the host university and country for your international academic experience?
2. What academic, personal, and professional goals do you expect to achieve through this international exchange program?
3. Why do you consider yourself an ideal candidate for an Erasmus+ scholarship?
• Official Academic Transcript.
• Proof of Need-Based Scholarship.
Application Submission
Once your application package has been completed in the order indicated above, you must complete the online application form and upload all required documents as a single PDF file (maximum file size: 10 MB).

The application deadline is Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Central Time, Mexico).
Important: Applications that do not include all required documents or are submitted in a format other than the one specified will not be considered.
° Only complete applications that meet all eligibility requirements and include all required documentation submitted within the established deadline and through the official application channels will be evaluated.
° Applicants for an Erasmus+ Scholarship may not participate simultaneously in the first round of the International Programs allocation process, as concurrent applications are not permitted. If an active application in the first round of International Programs is identified, the Erasmus+ scholarship application will be cancelled.
° Applicants who are not selected for an Erasmus+ scholarship may participate in the regular International Programs application process, provided they meet the corresponding eligibility requirements.
° Scholarship recipients will be selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of each application, taking into consideration eligibility requirements, academic performance, the quality of the Statement of Purpose, and any additional criteria established by the Selection Committee.
The Selection Committee will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating all eligible applications and selecting the scholarship recipients based on the evaluation criteria established in this Call for Applications.
The results will be announced on August 21, 2026, through the official email account tecglobal@servicios.itesm.mx and on the official website of Tec's Internationalization.
• Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Selection Committee, whose decision shall be final and not subject to appeal.
• The official Erasmus+ Scholarship Award Letter will be issued once selected students submit a digital copy of their Letter of Acceptance issued by the host university for the corresponding exchange program.
• Students who do not fulfill the admission requirements established by the host university will not be eligible to receive the Erasmus+ scholarship.
• Erasmus+ scholarships are awarded exclusively for the designated host university and academic period and may not be transferred to another institution, program, or academic term.
• Scholarship awards are subject to the availability of Erasmus+ funding and compliance with the institutional regulations of Tecnológico de Monterrey and the participating partner universities.
Students selected as Erasmus+ scholarship recipients agree to:
a) Have sufficient financial resources to cover, if necessary, the initial expenses related to their mobility (including airfare, accommodation, international health insurance, visa fees, and other related costs) until the Erasmus+ scholarship funds are disbursed, in accordance with the procedures established by the host university.
b) Maintain a full-time academic workload in accordance with their approved exchange study plan and comply with the academic regulations of both the host university and Tecnológico de Monterrey.
c) Represent Tecnológico de Monterrey responsibly and professionally while complying with all policies and regulations established by the host university throughout the mobility period.
d) Submit a testimonial describing their Erasmus+ experience by completing the online questionnaire provided by the Vice Presidency for Internationalization and sharing photographs documenting their academic experience, subject to prior authorization for the institutional use of images and content.
e) Complete and submit all reports and documents required by the host university in accordance with Erasmus+ Programme guidelines.
f) Complete any evaluation and follow-up surveys requested by the European Commission, the host university, and/or Tecnológico de Monterrey.
