U21 Sustainable Micro-Internships
The international consortium Universitas 21 invites Tecnológico de Monterrey and its students to participate in the U21 Sustainable Micro-Internships program
The Vice-Rector for International Affairs launched this call with the objective of selecting the 40 students who will participate as representatives of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Throughout the program participants will be engaged with and learn from students across the globe, spanning 21 countries and 19 time zones.
¿What is U21 Sustainable Micro-Internships program?
Sustainable Micro-Internships is a free, fully online program in which students from more than 18 countries will have the opportunity to collaborate in multidisciplinary and international teams made up of students from up to 29 U21 member universities. Together, they will present solutions to real-world challenges faced by international companies, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The students develop many skills, including:
Agility – ability to adapt to new environments, to grasp topics outside of your academic specialism and work with difference.
International Collaboration – first-hand experience of working across different time zones, languages and cultures, bringing together global knowledge to deliver results for an employer.
Influence – ability to build trust and solve complex problems quickly.
Presentation Skills - ability to clearly convey complex information to your stakeholders.
Teamwork - ability to work with a new and diverse global team to deliver a solution.
In addition, upon completing the program, participants will receive:
• LinkedIn Micro-credential Successful completion of the program and all activities will earn you the Leading Change micro-credential which you can display on your LinkedIn profile, demonstrating that you have developed the skills to tackle complex global issues and stand up as a leader.
• Three points for eligible extracurricular activities valid for the International Diploma
The internships involve 2 x 2.5 hour live online sessions at the start and end of the 2-week program, with the rest of the project work undertaken flexibly, online around your other commitments.
Students must select the topic of their interest and the schedule that best fits their time zone and personal availability. (Sessions are held in London time.)

1) Be a regular undergraduate student enrolled in any academic program during the August–December 2025 semester.
2) English proficiency B2 or equivalent.

This exclusive opportunity is only available to students at U21 member universities and is open to students of all disciplines. We hope that you will join us for this free programme. Please note that there is a limited number of 40 spaces per member university and U21 will operate a waiting list once all allocated spaces are filled.
