Student Talent Development
Talent is expressed differently in each and every one of us and becoming a member of the Tec community gives you the opportunity to embrace a student environment where you can discover, put into practice or drive your talent. The Tec offers innumerable opportunities for your integral education and for you to combine your professional studies with whatever you are passionate about.
Talento Artístico y Cultural
En el Tecnológico de Monterrey estamos convencidos que la expresión artística es el espacio en donde nuestros estudiantes sacan su mejor versión para proyectar sus ideas, preocupaciones y emociones, ya sea en el canto y la música, la expresión teatral, la literatura, las artes plásticas o la danza.
Es por ello que ofrecemos clases y talleres culturales en los cuales puedes aprender, practicar o mejorar tus habilidades en las diferentes disciplinas que se imparten como danza contemporánea, jazz, hip hop, ritmos latinos, danza árabe, irlandesa, guitarra, teclado, de percusiones, pintura, fotografía, entre otras.
Puedes ser parte de obras de teatro tradicional, revistas musicales, ensambles, conciertos o integrarte a una de las compañías de danza, música, teatro y canto.
En el Tec tienes oportunidad de participar en los concursos nacionales de Baile, Canción, Monólogos o Creación Literaria o en el extranjero a través de las producciones de danza folklórica que anualmente realizan giras internacionales a Europa, Asia, América Latina, EUA.
Puedes aprender a apreciar las bellas artes a través de la “Escuela de Espectadores”; o sobre producciones artísticas; iluminación, escenografía, sonido, vestuario, maquillaje a través de la “Escuela de Productores”.
Las oportunidades son exponenciales. En el Tecnológico de Monterrey se han descubierto y desarrollado extraordinarios talentos artísticos como Nacho Llantada, Paloma Cordero, Horacio Castelo, Beto Castillo y muchos más egresados que vivieron estos momentos como estudiantes y hoy se dedican a la expresión artística como forma de vida.

Talento Atlético y Deportivo
En el Tec de Monterrey estamos convencidos que la práctica constante de un deporte favorece tu desarrollo integral al brindarte espacios para mantener un estilo de vida saludable. En el área atlética y deportiva tenemos programas para todos. Acércate, participa y no te quedes fuera… solo nos faltas tú.
Clases formativas
Se ofrecen clases deportivas desde nivel básico hasta niveles avanzados en los cuales puedes aprender, practicar o mejorar tus habilidades en las diferentes disciplinas que se imparten. Se ofrecen clases de atletismo, box, basquetbol, yoga, capoeira, spinning, TRX, acondicionamiento físico, futbol soccer, natación, taekwondo, rugby o voleibol, entre muchos otros.
Recreativo
Si eres apasionado de jugar un deporte, puedes participar en los torneos intramuros que hay para ti. Se realizan torneos de tenis de mesa, E-sports, soccer, basquetbol, voleibol, Carrera de drones y algunos otros que se programan dependiendo el interés de la comunidad estudiantil y de las tendencias actuales. Los torneos se realizan entre compañeros de tu campus y también entre compañeros de otros campus.
Alto desempeño
Si ya eres un destacado deportista puedes unirte a uno de los 156 equipos representativos que tenemos en las 23 diferentes disciplinas a nivel nacional y competir contra otras universidades por el orgullo Borrego. Con tu talento atlético y el liderazgo de nuestro grupo de entrenadores, puedes alcanzar tu sueño y representar al Tecnológico de Monterrey en competencias regionales, nacionales e internacionales como son la Universiada Nacional, Campeonatos Nacionales de la Conadeip y algunas otras ligas y torneos de gran impacto; y por supuesto, representar a México en las competencias internacionales de más alto nivel competitivo como la Universiada Mundial, Juegos Centroamericanos, Panamericanos, Mundiales y los Juegos Olímpicos.
Las oportunidades son exponenciales. En el Tecnológico de Monterrey se han formado y desarrollado extraordinarios talentos deportivos de talla internacional como Fernando Platas (Clavados), Luis Rivera (Atletismo), Eduardo Nájera (Basquetbol), Bibiana Candelas (Voleibol), Ana Paula de la Peña (tenis), entre otros muy destacados.

Student Wellbeing
For Tec de Monterrey, Integral Wellbeing is the state of individuals and communities that contributes to their conscious, constant and balanced development in the physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, occupational and financial dimensions, in harmony with their environment. Integral wellness allows us to evolve, approaching a state of plenitude, contributing positively to the common good.
The Student Wellbeing area on your campus is intended to support and guide you to develop the balance of the seven dimensions of your well-being through:
- Prevention and Emotional Counseling
- Wellbeing Training
- Development of Competences and Skills for Academic Success
One of the efforts of this area is the TQueremos Program, which integrates a series of training tools, services and resources that will help you manage your student life, and develop and strengthen all dimensions of your wellbeing.

The Life and Career Center helps all students to identify the professional development path of their choice, as an entrepreneur, employee, conducting research, contributing to the third sector or pursuing specialization studies.
The Life and Career Plan Workshops provide tools to self-manage your personal and professional development. The workshops are designed to be fully practical and focus on helping you discover your personal and professional strengths, and successfully make the optimize your talents. We can give you advice on building your curriculum and provide first-hand activities in recruitment processes, such as competency-based interviews and assessments.
Your ideal job is just a click away. On the job board, you can find more than 13,000 job listings that are of interest to you, from the over 3,000 companies partnered with us.
Year round, representatives from different companies and institutions visit our different campi to recruit students and graduates for specific vacancies. During their visit, they give informative sessions to explain the company’s or institution’s profile, their trainee programs and the vacancies they offer and wish to fill.
At Tec, we have relationships that enable you to have internships in the top national and international companies, non-governmental organizations, hospital centers that are highly renowned for their innovation, and/or at the campus itself through the program On Campus Jobs.
We support you in building a plan to gain work experience in any area of your interest. Tec de Monterrey offers experience of making contact with national and/or international organizations that are looking for professional talent.

These groups focus on different topics, such as Ecology and the Environment, Sports and Recreation, Art and Culture, Leadership, Politics, Citizenship and a Humanistic Outlook, Professional Development and Entrepreneurship, Inclusion, Diversity and Gender; Religion and Philosophy; Health and Integral Wellness; Student Life and Alma Mater; Graduation Committee amongst many others.
Important leadership events are held every semester, which you can attend and with other passionate student leaders like you.
Be a member of the Student Government and participate in generating solutions for the benefit of other students like you.
On Campus Jobs es la evolución de los programas de prácticas donde los alumnos podrán expandir sus habilidades a través de acompañamiento con líderes de todas las áreas del Tec.
Con un alcance nacional y dirigido a nuestros alumnos de profesional, maestría y doctorado, creamos un espacio en donde pueden experimentar la vivencia de una comunidad con una cultura organizacional dinámica e incluyente.

Chilaquiles Tec
A traditional dish
Las primeras pruebas de chilaquiles se dieron en la cafetería El Borrego en 1968, en campus Monterrey. Se empezaron a vender en esta cafetería y poco a poco, empezó a ser un platillo característico del Tec en este campus.
A partir de 1985 se empezaron a incorporar los chilaquiles a todas las cafeterías del campus, y en 1993, se agregó a la recién estrenada Jubileo, en campus Monterrey.
Chilaquiles Tec registra su marca y abre su primera sucursal en campus Monterrey el 12 de agosto de 2019 con la finalidad de acercarse a la comunidad, siendo un platillo representativo del Tec.
La idea de crear una franquicia de los famosos Chilaquiles Tec surge a raíz del éxito que han tenido por muchos años y a la demanda de los EXATEC quienes, cada que visitan los campus piden comer Chilaquiles Tec.
Contamos con sucursales en: Campus MTY, GDL, CCM, CEM, CSF, PUE Y QRO.

- Parking lot

Tec makes available to its community an efficient and safe system for parking vehicles on campus. places, available for our students, collaborators, and visitors.
There are special spaces reserved for pregnant women, people with motor disabilities, carpool.
- Carpool

This is a convenient and sustainable option for those who want to share a ride with other members of the community.
This service is free and only requires at least 3 people inside the vehicle to use the available places. *Exceptions by campus.
- Electric vehicle charging stations

As part of our sustainability plan, our campuses have charging stations equipped with connectors compatible with different types of electric vehicles in our parking lots.
It is essential to reserve the charger and pick up your vehicle at the end of the scheduled period or penalties will be applied.
This service is only available for students enrolled in the current period and for active teachers and collaborators. Personnel outside the institution and EXATECs will not be able to use the chargers.

In support of the mobility needs of the Tec community, we offer safe and efficient transportation service on some of our campuses.

To facilitate transportation near some campuses, non-motorized vehicles for individual use are permitted.
The following means of transportation can be used on campus:

Some campus may have bicycle racks available. **
Due to the long distances that can be traveled within some campuses, we provide you with bicycles, which you can use in designated areas only and must be placed only in any of the racks on campus.**

Circuito Tec has strategic mobility points to help students, collaborators, and teachers to move quickly, safely, and sustainably in areas close to campus and other venues.
At Tec Food, memorable experiences are created, fostering emotional and physical well-being through several food options available throughout our Campus facilities, committed to fulfill pre-established service and quality standards.
Tec´s community cohabitation is promoted at our cafeterias and concessions, alongside sustainability initiatives and the usage of technological innovation tools for our continuous service improvement.
At Tecnologico de Monterrey, the health and well-being of our community is our commitment and priority. To ensure this, all our campuses are equipped with medical units, led by a team of health professionals, made up of doctors, paramedics, nurses and physical therapists, ready to respond to any medical emergency.
At TECMed Center we are ready to provide you with:
- Basic medical care
- General medical consultation
- Urgent and emergency care
- Observation and stabilization of patients (short stay)
- Assistance and medical coverage at student life events
On the 37 campuses of Tecnológico de Monterrey, for high school, professional and postgraduate level, we have cardio protection equipment and highly trained personnel to deal with emergencies of cardiological origin.
ProTect is a group of security experts committed to identifying and managing risks effectively, consistently and efficiently. Its purpose is to enable a safe environment, in an atmosphere of trust and respect for Tec Community.
To achieve this, ProTect has three prevention and care programs:
