¿Qué es Pasión por la lectura en la Feria Internacional del Libro Monterrey?

Pasión por la lectura se une a la Feria Internacional del Libro Monterrey para ayudar a alcanzar su objetivo: vincular la institución académica para impulsar la conversación pública. De tal manera que, a partir de realizar actividades en distintos campus pertenecientes al Tecnológico de Monterrey, poder ampliar el alcance y ofrecer a distintos públicos la experiencia.

Es un enfoque integral promovido por el Tecnológico de Monterrey, comprometido a encontrar soluciones a través de la ciencia entre disciplinas para abordar la obesidad.

Este enfoque analiza cómo la obesidad afecta a las personas en diferentes etapas de la vida, desde la infancia hasta la vejez, y considera múltiples disciplinas como medicina, psicología, nutrición y sociología.

El Instituto se enfoca en desarrollar intervenciones y estrategias preventivas que mejoren la calidad de vida y reduzcan el riesgo de enfermedades asociadas, mediante la colaboración de expertos de diversas áreas del conocimiento.

Different ways to pay your tuition and related services

Métodos de pago

The different payment methods available for tuition fees and any related services (e.g., insurance, transportation, accommodations, etc.) are:

  1. Online payments through the MiTec portal for students, alumni, and parents in the Web Account Statement and/or Enrollment system:
    • National:
      • Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Carnet, American Express, among others.
      • SPEI (Mexican interbank electronic funds transfer system).
    • National and International:
      • PayPal with credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, among others.
    • International:
      • Flywire payments, credit and debit cards, and international transfers.
  2. Electronic transfer:
    • National: From your online banking or mobile app (Banks with agreements: BBVA, Banorte, HSBC, Santander, Banamex).
    • o International: Citibanamex Universal Bank Account.
  3. Payment with TEC Educational Investment certificates.
  4. Cash payments:
    • In Oxxo Pay (Spin MX), payments up to 10,000 MXN per transaction.
    • At bank counters through the institutions Banorte, BBVA, Citibanamex, Santander, and HSBC.
  5. Payment by POS (Point of Sale) with a credit or debit card.

To make online payments or download the reference slip for bank counter payments, you can do so by accessing the MiTec portal for parents, students, and/or alumni within the Web Account Statement.

It is important to consider:

- Online payments are reflected immediately in the Tec Account Statement.

- Bank counter payments are reflected the next business day after noon, or up to a maximum of 72 hours (on weekends).

- Payments by POS (Point of Sale) are reflected immediately in the Tec Account Statement.

Medios de pago para colegiatura y servicios relacionados

Métodos de pago

Los diferentes medios que ponemos a tu disposición para realizar pagos de colegiatura y cualquier servicio relacionado (por ejemplo: seguros, transporte, residencias, etc.) son:

  1. Pagos en línea a través del portal MiTec de alumnos, egresados, padres y madres en el sistema de Estado de Cuenta Web y/o Inscripciones:
    • Nacionales:
      • Tarjeta de crédito y débito: Visa, Mastercard, Carnet, American Express, entre otras.
      • SPEI.
    • Internacionales y nacionales:
      • PayPal crédito y débito: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, entre otras.
    • Internacionales:
      • Flywire, tarjeta de crédito, débito y transferencias internacionales.
  2. Transferencia electrónica:
    • Nacional: Desde tu Banca en línea o App Móvil (Bancos con convenio: BBVA, Banorte, HSBC, Santander, Banamex).
    • Internacional: Cuenta de banca universal Citibanamex.
  3. Pago con Certificados de Inversión Educativa TEC.
  4. Pagos en efectivo:
    • En Oxxo Pay (Spin MX) pagos hasta 10,000 pesos por caja.
    • En ventanilla bancaria a través de las instituciones de Banorte, BBVA, Citibanamex, Santander y HSBC.
  5. Pago mediante dispositivo electrónico PinPad con tarjeta de crédito o débito.

Para realizar pagos en línea o descargar la ficha referenciada para pago en ventanilla, lo puedes hacer ingresando al portal MiTec de padres, estudiantes y/o egresados dentro del Estado de Cuenta Web.

Es importante considerar:

- Los pagos en línea se reflejan de manera inmediata en el Estado de Cuenta Tec.

- Los pagos en ventanilla bancaria se reflejan el siguiente día hábil después de mediodía, o hasta un máximo de 72 h (fin de semana).

- Los pagos mediante PinPad se reflejan de manera inmediata en el Estado de Cuenta Tec.

Overview

Dr. Jill Kickul served as a professor at the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and Narayan Research Director of the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab, both at the Marshall School of Business of the University of Southern California in the United States. She was also the academic director of the Master of Science in Social Entrepreneurship at the same institution. Furthermore, she is the founding director of the Annual Social Entrepreneurship Conference, the largest academic conference in the field.

Jill Kickul was previously director of the Social Entrepreneurship program at NYU’s Stern School of Business and academic advisor for the MBA’s Social Innovation and Impact Specialization. She also held several distinguished positions, such as president of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) in 2020, and was part of the Research Committee Chair (2018-2020) and the Teaching Committee Chair (2009-2012) for the Academy of Management, both in the Entrepreneurship Division.

Her career has been marked by a focus on entrepreneurial studies and social enterprise, where she combines her expertise in research with practical applications in these fields. Her work primarily revolves around understanding and fostering entrepreneurship, particularly emphasizing social entrepreneurship and its impact on society.

Dr. Kickul received the 2022 Dedication to Entrepreneurship Award from the Academy of Management, recognizing her long-term contributions to entrepreneurship research, teaching, practice, and the field’s growth.

Jill Kickul joined Tecnológico de Monterrey as a Distinguished Professor in Social Entrepreneurship for the Business School and EGADE Business School.
