¿Qué es el Core Lab Investigación Preclínica?

Es un espacio diseñado para apoyar actividades de investigación, educación y desarrollo.

Nuestro objetivo es apoyar a investigadores e investigadoras en el desarrollo de modelos experimientales para pruebas de seguridad y eficacia de fármacos, alimentos, dispositivos médicos, entre muchos otros; así como la generación conocimiento.

Unidad que se crea para auxiliar a los investigadores y ofrecer servicio hacia el exterior en el desarrollo de Modelos Experimentales para pruebas de seguridad y eficacia.

CICUAL

El Comité Institucional para el Cuidado y Uso de Animales de Laboratorio (CICUAL) tiene como objetivos vigilar el Plan Institucional para el Cuidado y Uso de los Animales de Laboratorio, así como revisar las instalaciones, validar los procedimientos de operación y evaluar los protocolos de investigación y otras propuestas que involucre el uso de animales; siguiendo las especificaciones de la NOM-062-200-1999.

El CICUAL asegurará que se cumplan todas las normas estipuladas en el Reglamento Interno del Bioterio del Tecnológico de Monterrey.​

Sometimiento de protocolos

  • Solicitar el formato Excel, según corresponda: ​
    • CICUAL-OP-002: para protocolos experimentales con animales, investigación preclínica.​
    • CICUAL-OP-004: para enseñanza.​
    • CICUAL-OP-005: para el manejo de piezas ex vivo.​
  • Llenar el formato: Solicitar y leer las especificaciones de manejo y bienestar de la especie que se empleará (roedores o lagomorfos).​
  • Envío del protocolo al e-mail del CICUAL para su revisión y posterior aprobación.​
    • Los usuarios que participen en el protocolo deberán contar con número de usuario vigente por el Bioterio, en caso contrario deberán solicitarlo al Bioterio (ajruiz@tec.mx).​

Tiempos de respuesta:​

Protocolos nuevos: 7 días naturales (lunes a domingo).

Adendas: 1-4 días naturales (lunes a domingo), según la urgencia y tipo de adenda.​

Core Lab: Genomics

What is the Genomics Core Lab?

It is the Laboratory where Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) is performed. Its vision is to contribute to strengthening research, knowledge generation, and transfer in Mexico through the generation and analysis of applied genomic data in various areas such as clinical medicine, genomic medicine, agribusiness, food, disease diagnosis, environmental sample study, genomic epidemiology, among others.

We aim to evolve towards a National Genomic Sequencing Laboratory, Certified for specific Sequencing Services and internal and external service.

The iSeq 100 is an ideal system for sequencing small genomes (bacteria, viruses, plasmids, etc.). It is ideal for carrying out 16s metagenomics studies.

This equipment permits deeper metagenomics studies, performing target gene sequencing, allowing us to obtain up to 15 Gb of information with 25 million readings and read lengths of 2 × 300 bp.

It is the largest equipment for short-length sequencing on the market; it is used when projects require massive sequencing of samples or to achieve greater sequencing depth and, therefore, more robust sequences.

Es un dispositivo portátil de secuenciación de lecturas largas (hasta 20,000 pb o más), ideal para proyectos que requieren la lectura de regiones genómicas extensas, transcritos completos o la detección de variantes estructurales. Gracias a su capacidad para generar datos en tiempo real y su diseño compacto, es una excelente opción para estudios en campo, diagnósticos rápidos y aplicaciones que se benefician de lecturas más extensas y continuas.

¿Qué es el Core Lab de Genomics?

It is the Laboratory where Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) is performed. Its vision is to contribute to strengthening research, knowledge generation, and transfer in Mexico through the generation and analysis of applied genomic data in various areas such as clinical medicine, genomic medicine, agribusiness, food, disease diagnosis, environmental sample study, genomic epidemiology, among others.

At Tecnológico de Monterrey, we provide the spaces and generate the conversations around Human Flourishing in three spheres: person, community, planet.

En el Tec facilitamos los espacios y generamos las conversaciones alrededor del Florecimiento Humano desde tres ámbitos: persona, comunidad y planeta.

En el ámbito personal procuremos desarrollar nuestras capacidades, fortalezas y virtudes en todos los aspectos importantes de nuestra vida, que nos ayuden a realizar acciones que brinden propósito y sentido a nuestra existencia.

Comprometernos con el desarrollo de la comunidad al ser una persona íntegra que fomenta la ciudadanía a partir de relaciones cercanas, DIVERSAS Y RESPETUOSAS DE LA DIGNIDAD DE CADA PERSONA.
