Art Collections and Museography

1. Send an artwork loan request letter at least six weeks in advance of the inauguration date of the exhibition addressed to the National Cultural Heritage Director, Ana Lucía Macías Chiu, indicating the exact place and dates of the exhibition, with a Standard Facilities Report (Standard Facilities Report) on the institution where the exhibition will be held and the corresponding Artwork Loan Forms attached (Loan forms).

2. Formalize the loan of the works or exhibition with a Loan Agreement, specifying the conditions of the loan and the conditions for the reproduction of images.

3. Reinforce the security and protection measures during the installation exhibition of the artwork, making sure there is continuous surveillance 24 hours a day.

4. The exhibition area must meet the following technical specifications:

5. Assure constant supervision of preservation measures to establish and control temperature, relative humidity and lighting indices.

6. Make sure that the transportation of the artwork involves an official vehicle or a company specialized in handling works of art that meets the requirements for the transfer of such pieces.

7. Provide a printout of the invitation and/or exhibition catalog.

8. Send a curator to receive and deliver the exhibition, filling out the respective conservation status form for each of the works.

9. Organize media coverage (television, radio, press) and deliver a copy of the press dossier for Art Heritage.

10. Invite Tecnológico de Monterrey officers (President, Rector, Dean of the School of Humanities and Education, National Cultural Heritage Director, and Campus Director) corresponding to where the exhibition is held.

11. Every Monday morning, send via fax or email a written report on the number of visitors to the exhibition during the previous week, as well as a detailed summary at the end of every month.

12. Include an educational proposal that promotes knowledge, dissemination and the appreciation of works of art for all audiences, and share it with Tecnológico de Monterrey.

13. Include the Tecnológico de Monterrey logo – following the official image guidelines – on any presentation displays.

14. Send photographs of the exhibition spaces.

15. In order to collect the artwork, the Bases of Collaboration must be signed by both parties and a copy of the certificate and/or cover letter corresponding to the insurance of the pieces must be presented.

Colecciones de Arte y Museografía

1. Enviar una carta solicitud de préstamo de obra por lo menos con 6 semanas de anticipación a la fecha de inauguración dirigida a la Directora Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural, Ana Lucía Macías Chiu, indicando lugar y fechas exactas de exhibición de la muestra, anexando Reporte de Instalaciones (Standard Facilities Report) de la institución donde se realizará la muestra y Formularios de préstamos de obra (Loan forms).

2. Formalizar el préstamo de las obras o la muestra por medio de la elaboración de un documento denominado Contrato de Comodato (convenio) en donde se especificarán las condiciones para su préstamo así como las reproducciones de las imágenes.

3. Reforzar las medidas de seguridad y protección durante el montaje y exhibición de las obras, asegurando vigilancia continua durante las 24 horas.

4. El área de exhibición deberá cumplir con las siguientes especificaciones técnicas:

5. Supervisión constante de las medidas de preservación para establecer y controlar los índices de temperatura/humedad relativa e iluminación.

6. Transportación de la obra en vehículo oficial o compañía especializada en manejo de obras de arte que cubra los requisitos para el traslado de bienes artísticos.

7. Impresión de la invitación y/o catálogo de la muestra.

8. Enviar un comisario que reciba y entregue la exposición, levantando los respectivos formatos de estado de conservación de cada una de las obras.

9. Cobertura de medios de comunicación (televisión, radio, prensa) y entrega de una copia del dossier de prensa para Patrimonio Artístico.

10. Invitación para los funcionarios del Tecnológico de Monterrey (Presidente, Rector, Decana de la Escuela de Humanidades y Educación, Directora Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural y Director de Campus) donde se realiza la muestra.

11. Enviar cada lunes por la mañana vía fax o correo electrónico un reporte por escrito del número de visitantes a la muestra de la semana anterior que debe desglosarse al cambio de mes.

12. Incluir una propuesta educativa que propicie el conocimiento, divulgación y apreciación de las obras de arte para todo público y compartirlo con el Tecnológico de Monterrey.

13. Incluir en mampara de presentación el logotipo del Tecnológico de Monterrey de acuerdo a los lineamientos de imagen que se les comparta.

14. Enviar fotografías de los espacios de exhibición.

15. Para acopio de obra se requieren de forma ineludible, contar con las Bases de Colaboración firmadas por ambas partes y copia del certificado y/o carta cobertura que ampare el seguro de las piezas.

Primary purposes

ITESM will process your personal data for the following primary purposes:

  • To attend, register and follow up on the request(s) you make for the use of our services.
  • When applicable, to contact and inform you about the academic and extracurricular performance of the student for whom you are responsible, as long as the student has given his/her consent.
  • To evaluate, improve, administer, procure and provide all services we offer (including the design and development of new services) and to perform all activities necessary to do so.
  • To perform activities of analysis of information and data related to your person through the application of various techniques and data analysis technologies that allow us to better understand your profile, skills and interests.
  • To keep you informed of the products and services available to you or third parties related to you (such as your minor child), as well as those that we consider relevant according to your status as parent, legal guardian, responsible for payment.
  • To validate the accuracy and quality of the information provided by you.
  • To manage your participation in the activities in which you register or enroll
  • To comply with and follow up on the terms and conditions, guidelines or regulations applicable to the service you receive or activity in which you participate.
  • Send you communications, notifications and personal notices through different channels and technological communication mechanisms that ITESM considers pertinent in order to inform you of relevant information about the status of your participation in the activities you have registered or enrolled in or any matter that may be of interest to you; as well as to know your opinion regarding the attention you have received and the services we offer.
  • To manage electronic access to ITESM's systems and technological infrastructure.
  • To manage physical access to the ITESM facilities.
  • If you accept, to manage the tuition payment insurance when you have been designated by the student.
  • To process tuition payments of the student for whom you are responsible.
  • To conduct socioeconomic studies of the student candidate or students for whom you are responsible applies for financial aid, scholarships and/or loans.
  • When applicable, for billing and collection processes.
  • When applicable, to keep record of your credit history and behavior.

  • To investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, fraud, or potentially threats to the safety of any person, violations of the terms and conditions of participation in the Program or the Mobile Application, or as otherwise required by law.
  • To comply with the obligations set forth in the applicable regulations.
  • We inform you that the refusal to process your data for the above-mentioned primary purposes would imply the impossibility to comply with the legal relationship with you and allow, as appropriate, your participation in the applicable activities or events.

Secondary purposes

If you consent, we will use your personal data for the following secondary purposes:

  • To send financial campaigns, advertising and marketing communications, and commercial prospecting of products and services of our own and/or from third parties, through various media channels, both physical and electronic.
  • To use and disclosed your personal image (whether photo, video, etc.) in the preparation of informational and promotional material.
  • To disseminate congratulations and other celebrations and special days.
  • For the application of surveys and evaluations to improve the quality of the products and services we offer.
  • To promote ITESM's academic, research, extension, sports, cultural, recreational and social events.

Based on the provisions of article 37 of the LFPDPPP, ITESM may transfer your personal data without requiring your consent in the following cases:

  • To controlling companies, subsidiaries or affiliates under common control of the responsible party (ITESM), or to a parent company or any company of the same group of the responsible party that operates under the same internal processes and policies;
  • Competent authorities in the cases foreseen by the applicable regulations, in the event that we receive a mandatory requirement.
  • When it is necessary for the maintenance or fulfillment of the legal relationship between you and ITESM, such as the case of individuals or legal entities, national or international, with which we have entered into binding legal agreements:

Use of Cookies

ITESM uses several technologies to improve the efficiency of the Platform including your experience when navigating the site.
