Acerca del Tecnológico de Monterrey
El Tecnológico de Monterrey (https://www.tec.mx) es un sistema universitario multicampus privado y sin fines de lucro. Desde su fundación en 1943, se ha destacado por su excelencia académica, la innovación educativa, el emprendimiento y la visión global, así como por su vinculación con la industria y empleadores, y su gran capacidad de ejecución. Cuenta con campus en 28 ciudades de México; una matrícula de más de 67 mil estudiantes de nivel profesional y posgrado, y casi 7 mil profesores; además de más de 26 mil alumnos de preparatoria y de 2 mil 500 profesores en ese nivel. La institución está acreditada por la Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC) desde 1950. De acuerdo con el QS World University Rankings (2023), se encuentra en la posición 170, ubicándose en el lugar 30 entre las universidades privadas del mundo; y en el QS Graduate Employability Rankings (2022) como la número 1 en América Latina y la 26 del mundo. En el Times Higher Education Latin America University Rankings (2022), se sitúa como la 1 de México y 5 en América Latina; siendo además la única universidad fuera de EE. UU. en el Top Schools for Entrepreneurship Ranking (2023) de Princeton Review y Entrepreneur, al ocupar la posición 4 en programas de emprendimiento en nivel licenciatura. Pertenece a diversas redes de prestigio internacional como la Asociación de Universidades de la Cuenca del Pacífico (APRU), Universitas 21 (U21) y The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), entre otras.
