- The amount covered depends on the financial need of the applicant’s family.
- Allows summer and winter courses and academic exchange.*
- Limited number of scholarships.
- Consists of a loan and an educational loan or just an educational loan.
- The Tec Educational Loan is an financial support program that postpones the payment of a percentage of the tuition cost (semester or summer):
- During your studies, you will cover a semi-annual fixed payment of $500.00 pesos for every 5% of the amount of the loan granted. For example, for a 20% credit, the payment would be $2,000.00 pesos each semester.
- It gives you certainty about the financial cost, by setting the annual rate to 8.5% (CAT) throughout the life of the loan.
- At graduation, you will pay off the borrowed amount or will choose a payment period of up to 1.5 times the period of studies with a loan, plus 3 months of initial payment as a grace period (you will also continue paying the fixed payment).
- For the capital and interest payment, you can select fixed or increasing monthly payments (adjustable).
- You can make advance payments at any time without penalty, be partial or for the total of the debt.
*Only some exchange programs apply.
- Demonstrated financial need
- Based on the admission file, you will be notified if need to take the Aptitude Test and obtain certain score
- Take the Academic Aptitude Test (valid from March, 1st 2022) and achieve a minimum score of 1,230 points. In case of having taken the previous version of the Aptitude Test, the minimum score would be 61 points.

Fixed payment of amortization to the loan. Said payment is a fixed amount of 1,000 pesos for each 10% of credit. For example, for a 20% credit, the payment would be 2, 000 pesos per semester.

Fixed monthly repayment of the loan, equal to the payment made while studying.

Increasing payment of capital and interest on the loan. The amount is increased semiannually: it remains fixed for six months and is subsequently updated. This allows to align the amount to be paid with the expected income of the graduate, easing the payment of the loan.

In order for Tecnológico de Monterrey to carry out this analysis, it is necessary that each of the people you specified as household income earners and the responsible for paying tuition provide their credit bureau report and BC Score.

Once you have been admitted, on the established date, you can find out the result of your scholarship application, which can be: granted, not granted or application under review. In case you have to comply with additional requirements, you will receive further instructions through the Scholarship Department.
The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final.

The Tec Education Loan is a support program that postpones the payment of a percentage of the tuition costs (semester or summer/winter):

- Support for students who wish to study at Tec and have financial need, regardless of their GPA.

Once you have been admitted, on the established date, you can find out the result of your scholarship application in the FINANCIAL SUPPORT APPLICATION PROCESS page and, in case it applies, accept the scholarship offer.
Afterwards, if you are a new student, pay the tuition advance of $7,000.00 pesos (which includes the Tuition Insurance payment fee).

APPLICATION PROCESS
The Academic Scholarship strives to recognize students who excel at their studies, regardless of their nationality or financial situation.
- The call is made once a year for students starting classes in August.
- A 40%, 50%, 60% or 70% scholarship over tuition costs to study any program offered, as long as it is available in the campus you were admitted.
- Allows you to take summer or winter courses, have overloading and go on exchange.*
- It can be supplemented with a loan for up to 20% of the tuition cost reaching a total support of 90%. For these situations, the student must make a request to the Department of Financial Support of their campus and meet the required requirements (only available for Mexican students)
*Only some exchange programs apply.
Students are eligible to apply if they have finished high school or are in their last year and meet the following requirements:
- Submit all the documents before January 14, 2021.
- Have a minimum GPA of:
- PrepaTec applicants: Have an accumulated GPA of 90/100 from the moment they began their high school studies up to the summer of 2020.
- Applicants from other high schools: GPA equal or higher to 90/100 during high school or the accumulated average during the first two years of high school (or its equivalent, according to the studies format), submitting a copy of the transcript emitted by SEP.
- Get a score of at least 1,360 points in the latest version of the Academic Aptitude Test (PAA).
- For those who took the previous version of the Academic Aptitude Test, the minimum score must be of at least 1,400 points.
- Having been admitted to one of the programs offered by Tecnológico de Monterrey which start in August 2021.
- Make the tuition advance payment before February 25, 2021.
The application must be made at the campus where the candidate was admitted.

Winner Selection

The recipients of the scholarship will be selected among the candidates who meet all requirements established in the corresponding section of this call, based on the score obtained in the Academic Aptitude Test and the high school GPA and will be subject to the following considerations:
- The number of granted scholarships is limited and has a limited availability for the Medicine program, therefore not all the candidates who meet the requirements will be recipients. Students will be ranked from highest to lowest, based on the score obtained in the Academic Aptitude Test and the high school GPA.
- Only the first score obtained in the Academic Aptitude Test will be valid. Scores obtained in subsequent tests won’t be taken into account.
- In case of a tie, the decision criteria will be the evaluation made by the Admissions Committee.
- The school reserves the right to declare the award of any scholarship deserted.
- The decision taken by the committee is unappealable.
- Any situation not foreseen in this call will be resolved by the Scholarships Committee in accordance with the applicable regulations.
*The Physician and Surgeon program offers a limited number of scholarships.

Commitments of the Academic Scholarship recipients

Students who are recipients of the Academic Scholarship will be subject to the rights and obligations stipulated by the current Financial Support and Scholarships regulations.
Obligations include:
- Keep a GPA (both each semester and cumulative) equal or higher to 85.
- Pass all the courses during their last high school semester.
- Perform satisfactorily, in the opinion of the Department of Scholarships and Financial Support, his scholarship service.
- Have a full-time academic load during the semester.
Recipients of the scholarship will receive a letter where the steps to activate their scholarship will be explained.

PROCESO DE POSTULACIÓN
El Programa de Beca al Talento Académico tiene la finalidad de reconocer a jóvenes con desempeño académico extraordinario, independientemente de su situación económica y nacionalidad.
- La convocatoria se realiza una vez al año para ingreso en agosto.
- Una beca que podrá ser del 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70% u 80% del costo de la colegiatura para cursar los estudios en el área elegida para carrera profesional y únicamente para el campus al cual hayas sido admitido.
- Permite tomar cursos intensivos en verano o en invierno, sobrecarga de materias e irte de intercambio.*
- Puede ser complementado hasta con un 20% de préstamo educativo para alcanzar hasta un 90% de apoyo total. Para estas situaciones, los candidatos deberán comprobar la necesidad del apoyo adicional a través de la solicitud socioeconómica y cumplir con los requisitos establecidos para ello (disponible únicamente para candidatos mexicanos).
- El número de becas a otorgar es limitado.
*Aplica solo para algunos programas de intercambio.
Podrán postularse como candidatos aquellos jóvenes que hayan concluido su preparatoria o que estén cursando el último año y que cumplan con lo siguiente:
- Entregar la documentación completa para el proceso de admisión y ser admitido a más tardar el día 4 de enero de 2022 (para el programa de Médico Cirujano la fecha límite es el día 15 de diciembre de 2021).
- Contar con un promedio acumulado en el certificado total o parcial de estudios mayor o igual a 90/100, a partir de su ingreso a PrepaTec y hasta el verano de 2021.
- Ser admitido para estudiar un programa/carrera de profesional en agosto de 2022 en el Tecnológico de Monterrey.
- Presentar la Prueba de Aptitud y obtener un puntaje mínimo de 70 puntos en la primera aplicación.
- Realizar el pago del anticipo de colegiatura antes del 14 de enero de 2022.
La postulación se deberá realizar en una sola fecha y solo al campus al que el candidato haya sido admitido.

Selección de ganadores
-
Las y los beneficiados con esta beca serán seleccionados entre los postulantes que cumplan con los requisitos establecidos en el apartado correspondiente en esta convocatoria, tomando como base el puntaje obtenido en la Prueba de Aptitud Académica y el promedio de estudios previos y se sujetarán a las siguientes consideraciones:
- El número de becas a otorgar es limitado*, por lo que no todos los candidatos que lleguen a cumplir los requisitos podrán obtenerla. Para la selección, todos los aspirantes serán clasificados de mayor a menor, de acuerdo al resultado obtenido en la Prueba de Aptitud y el promedio de estudios previos.
- Presentar la Prueba de Aptitud Académica y obtener un puntaje mínimo de 1,300 puntos, teniendo hasta dos oportunidades para obtener el puntaje. Para que puedas tener dos oportunidades, deberás haber presentado la primera prueba a más tardar el 17 de diciembre de 2022.
- En caso de empate, el criterio de decisión será la evaluación integral de admisiones.
- El Tec de Monterrey se reserva el derecho a declarar como desierto el otorgamiento de algunas becas.
- La decisión en la asignación de Becas al Talento Académico será inapelable.
- Cualquier situación no prevista en la presente convocatoria será resuelta por el Comité de Becas de acuerdo con la normatividad aplicable.
*El programa de Médico Cirujano cuenta con un cupo específico de becas.

Publicación de resultados

- Los participantes en la convocatoria podrán conocer su resultado a través de un correo electrónico.
- Si fuiste acreedor a una Beca al Talento Académico deberás aceptar el apoyo dentro de los 5 días hábiles posteriores a la entrega de tu resultado, para garantizar la activación del apoyo al momento de tu inscripción.

Compromisos por ser beneficiario o beneficiaria de la Beca al Talento Académico

El alumno o alumna que obtenga la Beca al Talento Académico adquiere los derechos y obligaciones establecidos en el Reglamento de Becas y Préstamos Educativos para los Alumnos de Preparatoria y Profesional vigente.
Entre las obligaciones se encuentran:
- Mantener un promedio, cada periodo, igual o mayor a 85.
- Aprobar todas las materias cursadas en el periodo que termina.
- Participar satisfactoriamente, a juicio del Departamento de Becas y Préstamos Educativos, en el Programa de Becarios.
- Cursar lo correspondiente a la carga académica completa en el nivel académico.

You will receive an email with all the details about the tryout.

Results

Once the tryouts are finished, your athletic talent profile will be evaluated. You will receive an email within a period no longer than 15 days with any of the following options:
- Invitation to the team (with an Athletic Talent Scholarship offer)
- Invitation to the team (without an Athletic Talent Scholarship offer)
- Thank you for participating in the tryouts
*The student must be admitted to Tecnológico de Monterrey in order to receive his/her result.

You will receive and email with all the details and elements you must have ready for the audition.
Acting:
- You must perform a 2 minute monologue (either an original monologue or one from an existing play)
- Come to the audition comfortably dressed (it must be black).
Singing:
- You must perform two 90-second performances: one in English and one in Spanish; both must include a verse and a chorus. Please bring the track in your MP3 player or cell phone.
Musical Theatre:
- You must perform two 90-second performances: one in English and one in Spanish; both must include a verse and a chorus. Please bring the track in your MP3 player or cell phone.
- You must perform a 2 minute monologue (either an original monologue or one form an existing play) and follow the instructions and exercises of the teacher.
Music (must know how to read sheet music):
- Play a piece of music no longer than 2 minutes with your own instrument. The piece may be from any genre, a sonata or concert movement (there will only be a piano or a keyboard available at campus).
Dance:
- Have a 3-minute routine ready.
- You must attend the audition comfortably dressed in black.

Be a first year student
- Have begun your admission process for any undergraduate degree at Tecnológico de Monterrey. You can submit an application, but to be eligible for the scholarship you must complete de admission requirements before March 11.
- The entrepreneurial project must feature at least one product or service prototype, have some validation progress with potential customers or users and being focused on solving a relevant, scalable and global problem, with the potential to transform positively your community, your country or the world. This scholarship is not aimed towards projects on the ideation phase.

- Pass all courses
- Have an academic load of minimum 4 courses
- Under certain circumstances, a reduction of the academic load might be requested
- Present before the monitoring comittee evidence of the relationship with the entrepreneurial source at Tec de Monterrey.
- It is required that the project is fully developed and has been sold or marketed before you finish your undergraduate studies.
- Carry out a satisfactory internship service linked to the entrepreneurial environment of Tecnológico de Monterrey.
- Present before the monitoring comitee every six months the progress of the project.
- Have semestral GPA of 80/100 or higher.

- Access to the creative industries ecosystem and the Schools of Architecture, Art and Design, and Humanities and Education, through their labs, challenges within a real context, programs with international guests, internships abroad, world-class teachers and much more.
- To study any of the undergraduate degrees offered by the Creative Studies or Built Environment areas. The Civil Engineering program does not apply.
- Offers scholarships of up to 70% of the tuition cost.
- The call is made once a year for entry in August.
- Allows summer and winter courses and academic exchange.

- Para estudiantes que se destacan por:
- Tener pensamiento crítico, capacidad de identificar los problemas del presente y afrontar los retos del futuro
- Incidir en la transformación de su entorno de manera positiva

- Buscar conocimiento y analizar perspectivas
- Otorga becas del 70% sobre la colegiatura.
- Puede ser complementado hasta con un 20% de préstamo educativo para alcanzar hasta un 90% de apoyo total. Para estas situaciones, los estudiantes deberán hacer su solicitud socioeconómica. Los alumnos extranjeros son candidatos únicamente para beca.
- Para estudiar uno de los programas de la entrada de Derecho, Economía y Relaciones Internacionales.
- La convocatoria se realiza una vez al año para ingreso en agosto.
- Permite tomar cursos intensivos en verano y en invierno e irte de intercambio.
- El número de becas a otorgar es limitado.

Desarrolla una propuesta innovadora de solución a retos actuales en México relacionados con el desarrollo económico, la justicia, la consolidación de la democracia y la inserción de México en procesos globales. Evaluación de la propuesta de tu planteamiento crítico

Se entrevistará a aquellos candidatos y candidatas que obtengan los mejores puntajes según la evaluación de sus propuestas.
La programación de fecha y hora de entrevista será de acuerdo a lo definido por el comité evaluador.

Los beneficiados con esta beca serán seleccionados entre los postulantes que cumplan con los requisitos establecidos, tomando como base el puntaje obtenido en las distintas fases del proceso de evaluación.
El número de Becas al Talento Transformador a otorgar será limitado, por lo que no todos los candidatos que lleguen a cumplir los requisitos podrán obtenerla.
Todos los participantes en la convocatoria serán notificados vía electrónica acerca de los resultados de su postulación. Las y los beneficiados recibirán una carta en donde se explicarán los pasos a seguir para activar su beca.

Education Investment Plan
The Education Investment Plan (PIE) is an alternative created by Tecnológico de Monterrey for those who want to ensure their children’s education, anticipating future expenses. PIE consists in the purchase of tuition certificates at current prices for future use in PrepaTec, undergraduate or graduate programs at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

- High School: Quarter, half or three quarters of a semester or full semester.

The FAMBD-CEMYD opens call for female scholarship holders in two periods during the year. Each call precedes the semester in which de entry will occur.
For the February-July semester the call opens from October 15 to November 15. For the August-December semester the call opens form April 15 to May 15.
Process:
- The communication can only be made by the interested student.
- You must sent an email requesting information to carolina.morales@tec.mx. With this, the application process begins.
- If you already have a student email, please communicate from that email.
- You must apply for the immediate semester in which you wish to start your studies.
- Any questions will be resolved during the period in which the call is open. This is for your own safety. If you send the mail too early, there is a risk that it will be “misplaced” and you will not receive a response.

- To have been admitted as a student of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing (in the case of women) or any career in the business area (in the case of men) at the Tec de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, for the period that is being applied.
- Be a foreign student
- Minimum average grade of 85 during academic semester prior to its application or having obtained that average grade at the end of high school.
