The entity responsible for the personal information that you provide is Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (hereinafter “ITESM”), address Av. Eugenio Garza Sada Sur No. 2501, Colonia Tecnológico, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, C.P. 64849.


Personal information and sensitive personal information processed by ITESM


In order to fulfill the purposes indicated herein, ITESM will process personal identification data, personal contact data, family members’ data, employment data, data on physical characteristics, academic data, biometric data, proprietary and/or financial data.

 

Moreover, we should like to inform you that in order to fulfill the purposes described herein, the following sensitive personal information will be processed: health information. Such information is processed to comply with the obligations derived from the legal relationship between you and ITESM, which is why your consent is excepted in this case.


Primary purposes


Tecnológico de Monterrey will process your personal information for the following primary and necessary purposes:

  • To create a profile to manage your participation as an ITESM board member;
  • To manage physical access to ITESM’s facilities and any other venue where Board sessions and assemblies are held;
  • To manage electronic access to ITESM’s systems and technological infrastructure Tecnológico de Monterrey;
  • Registration in life and major medical health insurance policies and any others deemed necessary by ITESM;
  • Accident prevention, nutrition and psychological assistance programs and medical tests;
  • To manage and/or operate your savings account, savings funds and grocery vouchers; provide training; and invite you to conferences, symposiums and all types of educational, cultural and/or sports events;
  • To create and implement analytical and statistical processes;

In short, to carry out all the necessary activities to manage and oversee your participation as a board member.


 

Finally, you cannot request ITESM to cease from processing your information for the aforementioned primary and necessary purposes, since such processing is necessary in order to fulfill the obligations derived from the relationship between you and ITESM.


Secondary purposes

 

Also, if you agree, ITESM will process your necessary personal information for secondary purposes related to the enhancement and development of the best work environment and climate (such as disseminating congratulations and other celebrations and special days). Your personal image (photographs, video, etc.) could be used to generate informative and promotional materials. Moreover, your information can be used to invite you to participate in financial campaigns or to request for sponsorships or support, or to promote and offer products and services.

Refusal to permit the use of your personal information for additional purposes will not constitute a reason to deny you the services requested or to terminate the relationship established with us.


Transfers


In order to fulfill the aforementioned necessary purposes or any others required by law or the competent authorities, ITESM will transfer the necessary information to the following organizations and for the following ends:

ARCO rights and/or revocation of consent

You or your legal representative can exercise any of your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition (hereinafter “ARCO rights”), and revoke your consent for the processing of your personal information by sending an email to the Department of Personal Information of ITESM to datospersonales@itesm.mx. Limitation and/or divulgation of your information

You can limit the use or divulgation of your personal information by sending your request to ITESM to the email datospersonales@itesm.mx. If your request is appropriate, you will be added to ITESM’s exclusion list.


Use of Cookies
